Mids did try, they just never got more than 2 keeps, so they were forced to resort to this...
Albs can better give up. If we take it at prime time (ie around 22:00 cet) Mids will still take it in the early morning. They did it after Albion held relics for 6 months, and they did it today again.
Midgard will never do a prime time relic raid because <insert random excuse here>.

I quite looked forward to defending in the Albion frontier, similar to what happened the last time we retook the relics (for a short time), or when Albs held Nottmor and Hlidskialf and other keeps in the Midgard frontier. But nooo, nearly no big-scale RvR happened at all, and none of the huge and immensely fun day- or even weekend-long frontier battles happened these last two weeks.

Guess you can't live without the relics, can you?

We did hold a few keeps, I didnt see the fun tho since when the alb-zerg came, it was almost impossible to move and everyone had 10+ secs delay. So it really wasnt that much fun.

- One of the keep taking forces will consist of FoM, LoM, BoM and Defiance. They will gather at: 64, 56 in Pennine This force will grab Boldiam and go straight to Excalibur where the relic raid force will be working on the first door.

- At the same time, the other keep taking force consisting of BC and RG will gather at MTK in Hadrian's Wall and move out for keep taking duty, they'll grab Benowyc and Erasleigh. If possible they will take both these keeps at the same time. Any grp who hasn't had the time to get to their rendezvous point should tag along this force, just make sure you have skald speed.

- The relic raid force will gather at: 59, 19 in Sauvage, that is where the river starts in east Sauvage. You must go here before the raid starts, preferably the night before and log. On a given signal they will move out to Excalibur, it will be when Boldiam and Benowyc has been attacked. This force will consist of all of the WR alliance and the rest of the LFoM alliance who is not helping out with Boldiam.

- When RG/BC has taken Beno and Erasleigh, we'll make a decision. Either RG/BC grabs more keeps (Sursbrooke and Berkstead) or they go straight to Excalibur to aid us.

- At the relic fort we will have tasks for specific guilds. WR will take out the first door with 3 rams, NP will take out the second with 3 rams and SBs will try to take out the third door with 3 rams. All guilds participating in the relic raid should bring a spare ram. I'll ask Nazgul if they can bring a few more rams.

- PP will block the west entrance with SMs, their entire guild will focus on not letting albs inside.

- Same goes for CE at the east entrance, they will block it with SMs aswell. FoM will bring atleast 3-4 SMs more to aid PP and CE.

- ALL hunters participating in the raid should take position along the road to Excal together with around 10 SBs. These stealthers will focus on giving the relic raid force info on incomming albs and kill loners. Every lone casters they kill is a caster less inside to worry about.

- We will try to use ninja tactics once again, all other SBs participating in the relic raid will move inside Excalibur when the relic force attacks. They will focus on killing albs logging in inside and archer and caster NPCs.

-The 3 ram using SBs inside will hopefully be: Runolas, Lillurme and Firani. These will have helped taking out Boldiam and should be there quite shortly after the relic force has attacked. They will be in my grp so we are sure they get heals.

- FoM will bring the first relic home and NP will bring the other two. When the last two relics has been removed from their shrines, all suicide at Excal and port back to alb to keep MMG clear.

you see 50-60+ mids in emain daily (maybe not together, but on /who), albs over 90+ ?

oh thats right when u had relics b4 and albs took blend/nott, that wasnt a huge zerg of mids who came to take them back? and i suppose i didnt get 10+ sec delay either because im an alb?, same old fucking excuse.
mids used to slag us for not defending our realm and over the last week or 2 response to keep attack on our frontier has been pretty damn good by our standards. i mean on friday night i got msg in /gu that 80 enemys had killed beno guards, i suppose that not a zerg and wasnt contributing to lag, its all albs who cause lag according to u mids, get a grip.

Was it a good plan? Not really. It's the standard alarm-clock, log-in at (x, y) raid, but with lines drawn on a map.
Will Albs do exactly the same thing in a week or two? Of course, it's the only real way to take relics on an overpopulated server like Excalibur.
Was it fun? It probably was for the people who haven't done it before, but for everyone else I doubt it. All been done before.
