Standing inside Sursbrooke keeping a close eye on doors, suddenly i gets backstabbed and at the same time doors go down. The guild who claimed the keep stated in /cg 227 albs

If that´s not a Big-scale RvR then would u care to explain what it is?

funneh thing is that BC & RG were somehow misinformed (or just misunderstood ) and woke up for rr yesterday as well

i just think it sucks that people who actually want to participate in active defence/attacking dont get to because people organise raids at times when a large chunk of the total population are not gonna be there.

personally, getting up early on my day off work to login and take a keep, when a minimal amount of opposition is about to provide a bit of fun/challenge/purpose, i think, would be a bit boring to say the least.

i really wanted, and was looking forward to having a good scrap with the middies over the relics, and id be surprised if they wernt.

im not saying taking relics at early hours is wrong, or lame or anything like that, im just saying that it deprives a lot more people than necessary of a chance at getting the most out of the game competition design.

all i can say is well done to the mids for claiming the relics. Its just a shame to the many people that are not online at such times to help thier respective realms.

With the number of 50's out there, its very hard to do a RR at more decent hours.

Agree, in fact pple was bidding at 3 AM in /cg about the hour in morning the logged mids ( we all knew that u were logged in somewhere inside our frontier) will ear the ring of their Ardamel's TM Alarm Clocks to come exc and steal our Relics, whitout any alb on-line to deffend. I think i won, cause i said 9 AM and that was the hour the "fair and cool" RR started, wasn't it? :[

I am sorry, but you Mids actually started this charade with your famous early morning relic raids on both Dagda and Excalibur. Please do not try to deny this, it was the Mids who begun this trend, and once again they do not even bother to try a primetime raid. It is plain that you simply cannot survive without those relics, and that you are in no way interested in the actual battle for them, but just want to grab hold of them the easiest way possible.

I've raided the hibs 2 times the last 2 months, first time at 20pm CET and the second time at 19pm CET, both raids went extremely well up to the point where the zone crashed or like this last time when the authorization server crashed. The first of these raids would've been a tough one, hibs would probably have won because my internet connection was down and the organizing didn't go the way it was supposed to, but the second one went very smooth. Hibs were dying like flies when the server went down and rams were being put up on first and the third door. That's alot more prime time than albs ever do, you either come past 00.00am or in the morning. Have I ever done a night time raid on a weekday for example? No I haven't, it's an alb specialty you can keep.
I once said that prime time raids are indeed possible, but I was wrong, I'd be the first to admit it, unless you raid a realm who has 5 out 6 relics or 6 out of 6 relics. So untill we get a server upgrade, I'll always be raiding albs at a similar time as albs did it or after that. Luckily the server upgrade is not far away now...

Btw, how many times did you try a prime time raid on us before raiding us this last time. None, am I correct? You raided us right after midsummer, when a vast majority of the Swedish population go out and drink (Midsummer is the biggest drinking holdiday in our parts). How many mids did you encounter inside the relic fort? There were only 3 of us and I had a really really bad hangover Did you hear us whine about that? No, because most albs are English and couldn't possibly have known about it.

Btw have u ever tried to play with 400+ characters on ur screen? Even the strongest pc couldnt handle that much info, let alone give u the opportunity to do something... cause 10sec+ delay u know... its unplayble.

Ardamel sum up the most in his post, but to give you an idea. After raiding Dagda with 45-55 peeps in november last year we also did our last early raid on the Hibs. You know the reason for this raid. Since Hibernia tried many times (even early in the morning) and finaly got both relics back at "primetime", they can safly sleep in their bed, cuz we will lett them relics be til we pull of a primetime RR on them.

As for the Albions we showed no mercy on the first RR on Excalibur given the history of Alb RR on Mid. So we did a raid at 10.00 CET on weekend. You got the relic back after every one and his dog had lvl up his Necro, harassed the mids with them, later took the relic at 05.00 and then came here bragging about it. So you ended up with a bunch very angry Mids that took down Excalibur. Some weeks ago you take the relics again, Ardamel makes a new plan after our Primetime RR on Hib fails after a Zonecrash. We raid at same hours as you did, so what is the problem?

Congrats on the succesfull raid.
We albs will need some time to lick our wounds, then we´ll put up a nice fight for the relics again. You see most of us actually get emotionally hurt when we loose an itam.
as for the tactics bal bla thing. the time of attack is a very vital factor. You would be just plain stupid to do a RR when the enemy has his biggest chances of defending, which is why morning raids are more and more common. dunno about hibs, but albs and mids do this.

As I stated before (when we had relics) as I will state now. I got no trouble with 10AM RR. The problem I do have is that it is never a single relic that gets raided but ALL Relics at one time.

There should be an 8 hour delay in the time a Relic Keep can be raided. Or it can be attacked just no Relic can be taken.

Besides that:

Gratz Mids on the early morning relic raid.

And at 10:00 a relics raid does not need a plan, this was also no plan, just a matter of fact that all n00bs should know when they do a RR at 10:00 AM. The Hib plan was way better.

Maybe you forgot, but even with the recently added bindstone in Snowdonia Station the distance from there to the power relic is still the greatest off all 3 realms. There is no way Albion can defend those relics untill we can teleport to Snowdonia Fortress.

Get yout facts straight, we raided you after 4 months after you've taken the mid relic in late november in a night time raid past 00.30 CET (that's when you arrived at relic fort). Our first raid on alb started at 10.20am not 06am. Then you retook the relics at 06am by using the "necro feature" and we came back one week later and took them at 07am. This last raid that albs did was the first one for over 8 months that was successful at a reasonable hour (on mids that is). It was a nice raid, well planned and nicely organized. So that raid was a very good one. You came at around 10am and so did we when we raided you this Sunday.

The hibs raids were a great success, thus they stand on way more morally high ground than any mid or alb. Hibs deserve to be raided on prime time and I think mids have shown our dedication in doing so When the server gets an upgrade, hibs can start to worry about their relics.
