go there, it'll give you the resists to the different classes in DAOC.

As I was asking in the rvr discussion before, about resists:

26% crush resist
26% absorb
+10% crush resistant armor
+3% racial crush resist

that's your resists on an average Hero/Champ etc. (39% crush resist and 26% absorb)

You attack a hero with your staff and hit for 213 (-163)!



best to not use crush against hibs imo.

Always been recommended to use crush vs hib-tanks. Guess those sources aren't reiable then . Aye. Eventhough. Thats WAY to shitty dmg for a scout. Nevertheless arrows.

Absorb != Resists

Absorb is the number that increases the AF your Armourtype has!

Try to add the absorb % of your armourpiece AF to the base AF on the item. Then you will see the light.

wouldnt it be better to keep thrust arrows at the top of you inventory?, then if you chance to swap to class persefic arrows then you would be able to rely on averages if you didnt, anyways my 2c

Well, I've not played Ald for ages but when I do I tend to use a lot of crush arrows since SC/Alche, thrust secondly and slash third (due to being on hib).

if 99 is the lowrst you've hit for your damn lucky, have hit for 20 before, i then went and hit the hib with my staff for greater effect than that :s

One day there will be a fletcher who incorperates all types of damage into a single arrow, and siegecrafters will be able to create tanks too.

simple arrow select0r:

hibs - all neutral to thrust, max resist u will see is 26% + racial

mids - all neutral to crush, max resist u will see is 26% + racial

so unless your sure what class they r and u know/have time to pick the right arrows, hibs = thrust, mids = crush.
