We are a rich country, our government CAN take care of funds for stuff that happens like that, but whole of Asia isn't, especially when it comes to 125.000 people, a number which I personally think will rise to up too 200.000.

I donated 10€ myself (555, national fund here in Holland which'll go to Asia) and if "everyone" would do the same in small or big ammounts, I'm sure those people would be ever so gratefull, it's the biggest natural disaster in the history of mankind, better give them a hand as it's horrid at what has happened there. :|

ok to put it into financial terms as you dont really seem to care about the loss of life, the people who got hit in asia lost everything, not that they had much in the first place, they dont have insurance and the countries governments alone dont have the money to rebuild even if they wanted too, so that is why we would like to try and help as much as we can.

Even if you only put in a few £s or whatever it all helps.

why is it every thread has someone who wants to flame someone else these days, don't get me wrong i dont mind, it makes for good reading, but some threads such as this 1 should be flame free but yet you people can't even control yourselves. (no this is not just aimed at those people who wonder what this has to do with rvr or want a cash donation in holland, it's anyone who even responds back to them with any kind of negative attitude.) i personally, dont really wish to see this kind of thread, i know what is going on across the other side of the world and i know where i can go to donate cash so if possible i'd like to try and escape from the horrific reminders of what is happening outside my bedroom but it is the most active forum which makes it the best to try and raise cash from so i'll deal with it, so how about some of you people also try and do the same and handle it.
