nm, that made no sense at all ! ;)
The guy Gerrard attacked is the same guy that made that ridiculous tackle on Giggs ;)

He's been let off, unbelievable really. I guess he felt threatened and acted in self defence.

Incredibly inconsistant from the FA, you only have to look a few weeks back at the Rio Ferdinand incident and see that this decision isn't right.

Ye I understand what you meant, but i removed my post that had nothing to at all with the incident. I misread your post :p

So to clarify, your post made sense! My post did not!

shock horror.. the FA showing favourtism towards Gerrard... infact the FA is a big pile of shit and needs to sort its act out in regards to decision making.

Too me this just screams that the FA want Liverpool to get teh 4th position and secure a place in champions league as they got experience to get results in that competition that hte others havent (thus be sure that england dont drop down the rankings and lose its 4th spot like scotland lost its 2nd)

To me it screams they dont want to publicly slag off an England Captain in a World Cup Year. First JT then they call another Capitan a thug does not look good. Like it or not special treatment will continue till the WC is over.

C'mon the Villa! Hugely entertaining game at Wigan, shame my stream keeps dying. And I'm rooting for Chelsea tonight, I feel ill :(

I didn't believe the hype that was being given to this match about how Chelsea were going to easily win this match, yes we are weak at the back with players out but not by that much.

So the ref see's half a potential stamp but misses about 10 penalty shouts?

Hmm!

I'm not saying it's the ref's fault we lost, far from it. However unsurprisingly over 2 legs we've had critical decisions go against us.

How many years in a row is that now?

That aside, we played like absolute shit. No desire. Barely strung 3 passes together.

Every time some referee decides to dick on us in this competition i care a bit less. I no longer care at all.

Bloody hell Chelsea. The first time I want you to win ... and look what you do. Now we're going to be playing a mean, hungry Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final. Not one that is jetlagged and has bigger fish to fry. Humbug.

Don't bet on it.

Yes the ref was bad but I don't believe that is a good excuse for any team to use.

Why not? over the 2 legs we had 4 potential penalties turned down and a player sent off for i dont know what.

If the refereeing was the other way around, or even consistant infact then we'd have won comfortably. It was even worse last year.

Admittedly we were shit in that game, worst performance i've seen in ages.

Useless Wigan defence :(

Thanks to the weekend results we're still in the driving seat for 4th, but we realistically need everyone to drop points along the way, as we've still got to play the top 3 and City.

Hoping Thudd is back in time for the Arsenal/Chelsea/United triple header, god knows when Lennon is back :(

Not really, look at the games you have coming up. Don't listen to the media -they trot out any old garbage to sell papers. The same papers that are bigging up Spurs were writing off Arsenal for the league after defeats by Chelsea and United.

Now look at Arsenal go.

We need to put you and City under as much pressure as possible though, and that means we are desperate for three points against Wolves at the weekend. Sorry Everz.
