10 ten men with Gerrard/Torres ah kid.
Reading dominated you with 11 like we did, an utter joke.
I heard somewhere that to sack them it would cost them 20 mil.
If that stops him buying another waste of a football kit like Aquilani then its a bargain surely?

Lucas Neill who signed for Everton like 6mth ago has been sold-on to Galatasary. Very strange.
Even still though, we got him on a free and sold him for £750k, very nice!
But we shouldnt be selling anyone, don't get it..

To be fair Aquilani wasn't that bad. He was one of the best of pools players yesterday!![]()
I thought he looked useful going forward, absolutely useless in defence though. Reminded me a lot of Michael Carrick.
Torres needs surgery and will be out for 6 weeks. I don't feel sorry for liverpool, but feel sorry for torres, so much is placed on his shoulders and he is constantly rushed back from injury too soon.
I'm sure i remember the same shit happening with Owen. Don't know who gets the idea to play these sorts of players as a lone striker, it doesn't suit them and helps fuck them up
So now Liverpool have Gerrard, Torres, Johnson, Mascherano, Reina and Benayoun out? Their 2 best players and only other decent players. HahahaCan't see their season picking up any time soon.
Masche's ban is over now
Reina and Benayoun ain't out afaik? (unless something happend I don't know about?)
But I agree with the last statement![]()
Liverpool's hopes of salvaging a fourth-place finish from what has become a truly dismal season have been undermined by the news that striker Fernando Torres will be sidelined for six weeks, while captain Steven Gerrard is out for a fortnight and midfielder Yossi Benayoun misses up to four weeks.
''The CPS Revenue and Customs Division decided there was sufficient evidence and it was in the public interest to charge Mr Redknapp. He is jointly charged with Milan Mandaric, the former chairman of Portsmouth City Football Club, following an investigation by the City of London Police and HM Revenue & Customs.''
''The charges concern two payments, totalling USD$295,000, from Mr Mandaric to Mr Redknapp via a bank account in Monaco, evading the tax and national insurance contributions due between 1 April 2002 and 28 November 2007. The payments were in relation to Mr Redknapp's employment. He will appear at the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on 11 February.''
uh hmmmWould have liked to have been at Blackburn tonight to watch the Villa, but just couldn't afford the time away from work in the Tax Return season.
Not feeling too confident about tonight, but even a close defeat with a goal or two should be decent result with the second leg being at home.
And yes I know the league cup is a weak competition, but the chance of going to Wembley is a big carrot. With the big four and their filthy lucre dominating every competition in sight we have to take this seriously.
