This is clear to everyone I think, but how many clubs do you think will have to go under before clubs realise and get their houses in order? Do you think football clubs should be treated differently than normal business under law to stop them being bought and sold so often, and to owners who really do not help the situation?

Pompey seem to be in a lot of trouble it seems the guy in charge is willing to borrow money but not invest himself would be sad to see them in trouble but i can see it happening.

He was horrifically bad his last season at Pompey, not only has he lost any pace he once had, but his footballing brain seems to have caught alzeihmers as well.

Apart from that, I just don't think Wenger has any reason to sign him, he has back up in defence, it is upfront he is lacking.

Interesting move if he is signed for the right price and understands he is backup he would be worth it for his experience helping the youngsters along. But i think Senderos and maybe Silvestre are nearly out of contract which could explain it.

The story says he has not signed yet, they are trialling him in the reserves with a view to a possible deal.

Apparently Sol has a month in the reserves to earn a contract.

People should not think of Sol as a first teamer i think if we get him it will be as cover behind Johan and for his experience behind the scenes.

But don't you feel you should have? I think it's been proven in recent weeks that Eduardo and Vela are not up to the job if Bendter misses games again for any reason. You've been relying heavily on goals from midfield, and the form of Fabregas and Arshavin working very hard upfront (and wasting his ability to attack from midfield IMO).

I can't see the sense in signing a defender when you have a fair bit of cover there, and not signing a target man when that is exactly what you need right now.

I think we need a striker yes. But the problem is getting one that will tick in the Premiership they are no good if they take 3 months to settle.
