qpr management is just a piss poor joke. their 4 points off play-offs i think, dont think any of their managers have done a bad job at all.

They never should have got rid of Paolo Sousa, idiots. The fans there really should be hitting out at the owners now. And Briatore should not be allowed any involvement with sport, ever.

Penalty appeal rejected by referee for liverpool!

Looked like a dive to me anyway, Lucas looked like he fell before the tackle even had contact!

Im not so sure it was a dive. Need to see it again. The guy dived in and always risked giving away a penalty.

However, I think the yellow came due to the hounding from the Liverpool players, didnt look to be giving a booking for dive until 3 players yelled at him.

I do think that situations like that shouldnt be a penalty anyways. If the player gets to the ball first, but kicks it out of play with no chance of getting onto it then they should not get a penalty due to being connected with. You should only get a penalty if you got a chance of getting on the end of the ball again. But hey, that would be too logical

Hmm, apparently not:

THE FA said:
Fouls and misconduct are penalised as follows:

DIRECT FREE KICK

A direct free kick is awarded to the opposing team if a player commits any of the following six offences in a manner considered by the referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force:
- kicks or attempts to kick an opponent
- trips or attempts to trip an opponent
- jumps at an opponent
- charges an opponent
- strikes or attempts to strike an opponent
- pushes an opponent
A direct free kick is also awarded to the opposing team if a player commits any of the following four offences:
- tackles an opponent to gain possession of the ball, making contact with the opponent before touching the ball
- holds an opponent
- spits at an opponent
- handles the ball deliberately (except for the goalkeeper within his own penalty area)
A direct free kick is taken from where the offence occurred.

PENALTY KICK

A penalty kick is awarded if any of the above ten offences is committed by a player inside his own penalty area, irrespective of the position of the ball, provided it is in play.

Nooo, the media love in for Mancini is getting annoying now. Would like to see Everton, a proper club and not a media circus, get the points tonight.

Sod that, Everton can score if they want, as long as Given makes at least 4 saves first, and Everton can win, as long as bellamy scores a couple.

As opposed to small time Championship fans from newcastle who just cant be arsed to work full stop?
