Thats my recollection too - I remember the servers crashing a lot - took them a few months to settle down. We used to regularly crash it by PvPing at Tarren Mill by the zergload - was actually fun then but they soon put a stop to it.

That's pretty much what server caps and queues are made for though really..

WoW release was like 7 years ago now too, technology has advanced a shit load since then :/

The only reason they are doing this "play early" crap is because it makes them a bit of extra cash.. and all the impatient star wars nerds dressed up irl in their http://www.play.com/Gadgets/Gadgets/4-/13800888/Star-Wars-Galactic-Empire-Dressing-Gown/Product.html?_$ja=tsid:11518|cat:13800888|prd:13800888 are literally pissing their pants in excitement.

Getting on earlier than everyone else should only be available if you gave x amount of feedback during the beta of the game.

All the pre-launch crap is quite silly, everyone should be able to login at the exact same time.... enables some epic starter place zerging :D
Awww you didn't preorder and will now have to wait until probably the 19th to play.

WoW release was a nightmare to try and play, stupid high queues, zergy starter zones, trying to get drops for quests sucked!

Got better though, vanilla WoW was always alot of fun before they dumbed it down.

Nah, as I said, I'm not spending £40 on a game which will be less than £20 in a month (deal)..

Did any of you pre order the collectors edition? It looks like it's sold out now. How much money was it?

I don't really remember WoW having such a big issue with it.. I don't remember them having a pre-launch really..

You don't remember three hour waits to log-on? Clearly didn't play from release then. Let me guess - you waited until it was reduced to £20 months later?

That's what it should be like though, not people having an advantage over others just cause they paid £20 more....

Got the invite too...

Sent Dec. 1: Final Beta Testing Weekend Invites

This is our final test before launch! We have invited a smaller number of testers than in our previous Beta Testing Weekend to assist us in testing a new build of the game. If you participated in the last Beta Testing Weekend, check your e-mail to see if you've been invited. All you need to do is open the launcher and begin patching – you'll be able to play at the time stated in the e-mail you received.
  • Who was invited: Selected testers that participated in the previous Beta Testing Weekend
  • What was sent: Final Beta Testing Weekend invitations
  • Server locations: US East Coast, US West Cost, and EU servers
  • Invite status: All invitations have been sent! Check your e-mail to see if you have been invited and for instructions!

Oh yes, that's true! Had forgotten about that. As much as I liked vanilla WoW it was horrible at launch.

So you want a robot with human qualities not a human with robot enhancements?

Anyone else think the cyborg is a pretty weak playable species? I've never heard of a cyborg species in Star Wars, and having them on both factions? Pah! These implants should have been a customizable feature for all playable species. They should of had Aqualish for Empire and Nautolan for Republic.
