No idea, I saw the 'Season Two now available' on the RSS feed, so started up the game and it began patching away!
And no worries, I'll keep hold of the RA5, I've yet to do any of the task forces at all, so if we can arrange a team, I'm deffo up for it...

Diplomatic ones are gay.
If you ever get stuck, make sure you don't have an "Ops" bar in the bottom right hand corner. They won't flash up but your solution probably awaits you there.
(wish I found that out before I ran around Vulcan like 20 times)

No, they're still tinkering with it. The release has only been out a couple of days so it's not kicked in properly imho. If you're after Klingon content though, I'd say no different.

despite all thats been done with the game since release not that much have actually been released in terms of content on either fed or klingon.
dinged major general 1 today and figured i'd try the 2 rear admiral upper half fighters, and from all trusted sources major general IS rear admiral upper half but i still cant fucking use said fighters on my carrier....

Hence the fuckups. The release really isn't polished but that said I'm happier that they're bringing stuff in to a schedule rather than just "when its ready" or we'd never get it. The Klingon side is going to suffer until they get someone to write that side of the script.
Personally I'm biding my time upping my memory alpha skills as my friends have shown me the error of my "meh that's boring" ways by being able to craft good shit for themselves with every new ship they get whereas I have to buy or find all my kit from scratch again.

i doubt that will happen to be honest.
aparently they are already pushing for the romulans to release in season 3.
and there will never EVER be enough time to fix klingons before that, especially as they are trying to release season 3 in november if i understood it correctly...
sure one can always hope for the weekly episodes but i bet that those will only be released as level 40+ content.

I don't think they will release the Romulans for S3. That's too much content in way too short a period of time especially considering the complete void that already exists for the Klingons.
I think S3 will more likely expand the existing threats and bring in more of the minor races. We've already seen the Breen and the historic Klingon enemies. It's more logical for them to work with what is there and Stahl seems to have his head screwed on.
If you think about it, the next logical step is to expand the "mirror universe" threats. All the ships are already done you just have to "logo" them differently. That's an awful lot of content possibilities with very little work and they've barely exploited it so far (couple of missions = nothing)

sure but they could do with romulans what they did to klingons.
IE release the race with just 2 zones to play in and then just have us grind pvp or empire defence missions for 40 levels.
they have as shown done it once before, and i have yet to see them say it wasn't a good idea. infact they seemed to blame US for it, as in "you wanted it, we made it happen".
and people want romulans baaaaaad, so the chances are big that they do it again...
tho i have to say i don't really care how little content romulans will get. i fucking hate that race, they aren't more then green klingons with fucking ugly ships (except for the warbird)...
personally i won't start caring until cardassian or dominion release

I don't think that'd work for the Romulans though. The Romulans need to have a base in the espionage style with which we are accustomed. Stuff like blowing up bases or planets on the sly, not just flying around shooting stuff. You can get away with that for the Klingons but not elsewhere.

it looks pretty cool but fucking hell its a pain in the arse to set up a build for..

bah, need high end science skills to get that fucking carrier to at least be somewhat acceptable..
fucking piece of shit ship...
i have no idea what to make of that ship or how to use it properly.
plus for some fucking reason it has over 10.000 LESS hull points then the old carrier and t5 cruisers.
i have close to 50.000 hull in the old carrier, this new one only have 37.000.
its a funky looking ship thats for sure but its utterly useless if you haven't twinked it up with the best of everything, and even then its very sub par...

tbh i'm somewhat disappointed.
i was expecting missions with lengths more in line with the ones we already had.
it took me ~30 minutes to complete the first 2 missions, and no not 25 minutes each. i actually read all the dialogues aswell.
the missions were good and well thought out, i just wished they were longer.

I thought they were pretty cool tbh. Especially the mission within a mission stuff. There still needs to be more more more content but if they can churn out one of these a week and they're spending the rest of their time on more content I'm more hopeful for Season 3 than I was before.
