Don't have to wait long. I see incorrect crap posted here all the time ;)

A few problems here. First dunno why you want a 39 rejuv cleric as a 100% health/50% power rez is far far more helpful than resist buffs. If the 40 rejuv cleric dies, you want him up with 50% power NOW. There is no point to a cleric w/o power. You can easily get the highest resist buffs from a bot to start, and then just rely on 35 enhance ones when you can’t get back to rebuff. Also, at least one cleric (maybe both) should have 41 rejuv.

We have tried running with another tank as shield tank and with a shield paladin. That is a better choice imo cause the pala can be offensive and use slam. I think having a shield/slam is better in an organized group that the very little damage a 2h with that spec will add to things. The problem with either set up is that you don’t have enough offense.

The other big problem is that if your shield merc takes a day off, your 2h pala is no good :p Where are you going to find another shield crush merc ffs. Then you get to find a random paladin and a random tank.

Also not at all sure what this set up would bring vs hib caster groups. You don’t need DT then so much as very fast killing.

BTW two mincers is a bad bad idea on Excali because you are going to meet 2fg or more. I don’t care what you say, you need a sorc in that situation. I also think a sorc is better for facing hib groups for interrupt. They also have a pet which is good for interrupting. Vs. mid groups, two mincers might be better, but vs Hibs + vs zergs you need a sorc.

Think NP should just buy second accounts and lvl on alb/excali :p

one good thing about merc, is that its second raising stat is dex. not bad for a shield tank.
