Shadowblade spec

Currently, I am 21+5 CS, 19+5 Stealth, 18+5 Axe and 10+5 Envenom... works out very good when I get the PA in, but when I don't.. it's pretty hard.

I was looking to try a other spec, something like 19+5 Stealth, 18+5 LA, 17+5 Evenom, 15+5 Axe. I'd really like to try this one.. but I have no idea if it is good or not. The 17+5 gives a 55 str/con debuff which is nice but I'm not so sure about speccing LA so high.. is it worth it?

Also, I'm using a 4.2 in my mainhand and a 4.0 in my offhand.. are those too slow to be good in the spec I'm thinking off?

Personally i've never been a fan of 19 + 5 in stealth, i've always found 18 or even 17 to be enough so that would free up some spec points. If you come across a stealther just unstealth and garrote, aren't many good stealthers out there anyway
As for specs you need 21 CS and high in your main weapon (Axe). I'd keep envenom low as the debuff really wont make much of a difference at 20 anyway. If it was me i'd spec LA higher go for a shadowzerk!!

Not having 19+5 stealth would result in getting backstabbed alot I think.. it's crazy how good you can see people with less stealth then you. You can see them running around at a nice distance and those who have 24 stealth, you pretty much only see them when you're either right infront of them or using your closest enemy button.

That's my opinion ofcourse.

I got my armorparts, just need to get them sc'd and then I'm off to try this spec. Ofcourse, I will miss +400 BS and 500-600+ PA's.. but trying something new is fun as well.

Most viable BD spec for Thid is 22 Suppression rest Darkness, gives better variance in your base nukes, all that 24 Suppression gives is a focus aoe snare (can sometimes be useful) and a healer pet at 24 which is about 1.1% better than the one you get before. In other words, 24 Suppression just isn't worth it

Well for one thing I seen mention of lower stealth and that can work to your advantage at times as it frees up some points but the downside is when you meet an experienced inf or ns. The real nasty ones have at least mos 1 if not 2. You won't see them until they perf you if you have 22 or 23 in stealth. Even if you had 24 in stealth and no mos you will catch a glimpse of them before they attack you but they will disappear leaving you thinking there is something wrong with your computer. They disappear and can attack to perf or bs you if they are fast enough and have mos 1 or 2.

Personally I don't think SBs are anything like as nasty as an inf or ns. For one thing NS ends up with full buffs and haste and an inf has better armour which is enhanced by buffing and also has far greater damage output. If you want to take out infs and ns all the time you have to really learn how to outplay them in my opinion. Faster reactions when perfing, weapon swapping, straffing, biting, hair pulling - and my favourite - kicking in ballocks .

Darn I was doing fine then but I started losing it again towards the end.
