Niko was trying to get revenge in GTA 4 and escape his past and overall he wasn't a twat and you could perhaps forgive his actions in the story throughout the game towards the end.

These 3 are just utter bastards by the sounds of it and a few reviews and said they struggled to find things to like about them.

Yeah you can justify nicos' actions a bit, but he's still criminal scum. Not to mention the rest of the gang activities etc in other GTA/saints games. I -still- want a police POV gta style game

Wasn't really surprising on the review side of things, "it's GTA" would've been enough on any front really, especially with the PR budget *cough*. Have to see what regular non-buyablke sources think of it.

That's not really a GTA sandbox game though, it's closer to one, but not in the same genre.

Best bet, and to let people still cause mayhem, would be to do it in the 90s cop movie style(lethal weapon etc) where you get yelled at etc by the bss when you run a car through a shop window to catch the baddies.

Love the first True Crime game as you could be a cop, be it good or bad. The random missions that would come up as you drove through LA were cool. Always kept me coming back to more. The mess that was True Crime New York, was a step backwards and Sleeping Dogs does have the poilce Swat DLC missions and activities.

The game is fucking brilliant I love Michael such a bad ass.

Both my local Tesco Extras sold out of 360 version with just a few PS3 copies on the shelves, eat that COD can't remember the last time a game sold out.

Can't wait to sink some more hours into this, this is the last hurrah of this gen and what a send off this game is giving it.

IMO the 3 characters, swapping etc can get a little confusing, it's like 1 minute you are getting into Michaels story then you swapping over to Franklin.

Finally got some flying machines, which is always fun. Starting to enjoy it a bit more, but the enforced delays between mission segments is fucking annoying. It's to prevent fanboys from just raging through it in 12 hours but I dont appreciate being forced to do taxi missions or other bullshit just because some timer hasnt ticked down yet.

People were lining up all night so they could be first in the queue to get a copy. I went to my local Tesco earlier and they got fecking loads of them.

They were also doing big tubs of Celebrations chocolates for £5. I got one.

Now all I need is a Playstation 3. And a copy of GTA5. And a big HD TV. And an extension lead long enough to reach the garden shed.

(Apparently HD TV is being superseded by something called 4K HD?)
