HDMI In on laptops will be very nice, especially on those with decent specs

Is going to be based on the motherboard, unless anyone knows otherwise I don't think any current gen machines have HDMI-In? Not for cheap anyway (I know Alienware lappies allow it on higher end models)

Would save so many problems if I could just hook up my 360/PS3 to my laptop =

I doubt they have anything-in tbh... The VGA/DVI/HDMI ports on laptops are all meant for outputting to external screens afaik.

Going to venture down to Tesco or whatever when I do the shopping at the end of the week, hopefully they will have some copies left. Was leaving it until the last minute in the desperate hope that they would see sense and release it on PC too. Still, wife is away at her mums at the weekend so might be able to get a few hours of gametime! Going to have to treat myself to an HDMI monitor and pair of bluetooth headphones at some point.

Having seen some gameplay videos, the game looks great but I can't help thinking how much better it would be on PC.

Pirates have already cracked opened the code and found a PC and PS4 version. I'll do the same and get it on Tesco's or something, then get it on PC in a steam sale with any DLC that comes out.

The main complaint I'm seeing is the 3 characters can't be felt sorry for or their main goal is justified because they are just utter scum bags to the extreme.

Ah fuck it defo picking this up at midnight :)

The in game Facebook type thing is called "LifeInvader". You "stalk" people or companies for in-game discounts :D

Interesting that's the complaint, seeing as not really any sandbox gta'ey games have any justifiable reasons.

Niko was trying to get revenge in GTA 4 and escape his past and overall he wasn't a twat and you could perhaps forgive his actions in the story throughout the game towards the end.

These 3 are just utter bastards by the sounds of it and a few reviews and said they struggled to find things to like about them.

Not complaining myself.

Looks like its on course to be the highest rated of this generation overtaking its older brother.

Just played it for two minutes on a modded 360 in a house I was fitting an oven at...awesome, but didn't have enough time to do much, I was playing some black dude running through shallow water.

If you get the 360 version only install the mandatory second disc, don't install the play disc as they have the game reading from both the disc/hdd to lessen texture pop in etc.

Be interesting to see the 360/ps3 version side by side, I'm betting the 360 will perform slightly better.

PS3 has better draw distance and textures (slightly) whereas the 360 has better shadows and more grass (slightly)

That's never been the case with any game - the ps3 is meatier?

It is, but harder to code for. The Xbox is just a 6 year old budget PC.
