Yeah its the typical hobbled console controls, will be far better when it comes to pc but for now it will do. Still some garbage ai with npc cars though, pulling out in front of you etc. Driving feels much better on the whole, the vehicles feel different rather than some just faster than others.

If you are struggling with aiming just turn on traditional GTA auto locks onto targets.

I honestly don't have much time for gaming anymore but I will play the shit out of this when it comes out on PC. Just have to be patient and slightly jelly that the console bods are playing it but safe in the knowledge that it will of course be so much better on PC.

Never actually played any of the GTA games on console before, but I loved Red Dead Redemption. Bullet time and auto aim worked fine for that, felt very natural. In a way it feels a lot more natural having him instinctively auto track enemies for a couple of seconds, rather than faffing about pixel peeping with mouse + keyboard. Even better for 3rd person games.

Hi,

I'm about 40% through it. I kinda like it.. because I think I should. I dont know what it is, the missions dont seem to hold my attention. Theyre all quite short and easy..

also the torture thing was quite disturbing

I am finding it has quite a lack of direction, constantly having to switch characters to see if they have a mission available.

When was it released? Monday? And you've done 24 hours of play? That's not casual.

Am I the only one who hasn't completed it / Spent 5 days in a row playing it so far? So many people finished the main story. I'm like "Might play 2-3 missions now, maybe another later" - Not sinking hours into it.

3 hours / day + weekend, regular gaming time really.

I suppose, I guess I'm just not a gamer any more, I'm just someone who sometimes plays games. For me it would be more like a couple of hours a couple of times a week, maybe sneaking in an extra hour here or there, and if I really juggle things a 3 hour session on a weekend. That would stretch it out much further.

The game will work differently for different people though. Some people are all about blasting through the missions/story. I have been mixing it up a bit. I really enjoyed stumbling across an armoured car, following it until it stopped to make a drop, nicking it, then escaping to the desert to break into it. Must have taken me an hour of my valuable gaming time, didn't use up any of the scripted stuff and was bloody good fun.
