I've just queued at an Apple Store for an iPhone. There are various and good reasons why I had to do so today, but boy do I feel dirty right now.

Spoke to my neighbour yesterday who was going to queue at 5:30 am to buy 2 phones. Mainly because she was part of a group of 40 or so people who were getting paid to do so by someone who would then fly to Dubai in the afternoon and sell them on because the iPhone 6 doesn't come out until Nov in Dubai.

Despite a big night Friday, an 80 mile bike ride and a big night darn sarth last night and a long journey back today I couldn't get to sleep (went to bed at about 10:30) so I got up at midnight for a quick game to calm my mind.

Thought I'd only been a couple of hours. Fucking 6am

Specifically when they say things like "Oh I have such a long today, I'm in 9 till 5" to their friends.

I'm in the same class as them and we had 1 lecture at 9am-10:30, and then we have a free period till 3pm lol; then we have two 1 hour lessons from 3-5pm.

I found it hilarious really I couldn't believe they were serious, it's those kind of people which can be as smart as you like getting A*s but have 0 common sense and can't even make a pasta dinner

I always used to feel sorry for my engineering mates who had a solid 9-5 5 days a week lecture and labs programme, as I crawled out of bed at 10AM most days. But of course I had lots of reading to do so it all balanced out

Other days are only 9-5 so I got that going for me tho

On Thursdays, I'm in from 9 till 5, but have like hour breaks inbetween each lecture/seminar, it's not that what's annoying, I don't mind long days, it's when there's fuck all to do in between, especially when the campus is now a building site.

As I say, I don't mind, it's the fact that I have to wait for like 4 hours at campus twiddling my thumbs, it would be an ideal time to do work and stuff, but as I say, the campus is a building site.

Its true new shiz sells for double the price on souk.com. I once flew back from LA with 8 mini iPads which I sold at 150 USD profit on each, 2 MB Airs at 200 USD profit. I even got stopped to go through the baggage scanners at Dubai airport and said they were presents for the family . Do it all the time now when I go to US. Apple Shinies are the easiest to sell here. Usually a delay of 6 months before it arrives officially and the Arabs simply can't wait that long.
