That's actually the single thing that makes me want to throw my mechanical keyboard at the wall, to use the insert, home, end etc bit you have to switch numlock on and off.

I didn't think it would be an issue when I bought it but I am already thinking about replacing it.

I hate keyboards without the full set. Logitech had a thing for ages of replacing the delete key with a massive insert key, which was want. I'd probably get a Chromebook if it had caps lock not stupid freaking search.

Same as the default in daoc. When I didn't have my own pc and only played on my dad's 56k dial-up modem computer he would always go mental when it was off, and as you say, it always is :p

Just started a new job (which I can't talk about much for a few months). Job is based in Dublin but company is British and I'm basically employee number one on the Irish payroll. Get my laptop and phone on the first day and...my phone is a UK phone with roaming blocked to Ireland. Genius. I think there may be a quite a lot of cultural adjustment...

Apple making out that the iPhone 6+ is revolutionary, and that Apple Pay will "change the way we pay for things".

Welcome to Google 12 months ago you apes.

But if they didn't say stuff like that, apple users wouldn't be able to walk about with that ironic smug look!

Being allergic to cats and having one in the house :(

In August with the family back in the UK an injured kitten got into the garden and remained. She was in a bad state but I fed her and took her to a vet etc. I did not allow her in the house as I though it would upset the dog or he would kill her whilst I was at work. On returning home my Mrs insisted she came into the house until fit enough to leave or be housed elsewhere. Now the traitorous dog is happily playing with her and treats her very well. I'm left with sore eyes and runny nose and probably the who will have to leave....

Nah, I was alone in Dubai for 5 weeks. The injured kitty turned up then, pic below. She looks a lot better now. I kept her fed and watered and when the family arrived back from UK they insisted she live indoors with us.

Sweet thing really but sets my allergies off. Although I suspect if I give the family an ultimatum I would be the one leaving ;)

Clever little shits.

I'll walk up to a house, look pretty, and they'll let me in.

Mate of mine in the UK has a novel plan. He is currently working for G4 Security as a Director and plans to retire at 50 and run a mobile expresso/snack truck. Mobile Cafe Nero type thing.

Meh, when you're 60+ you can more or less start a new career, but when you're 30-50 you'll probably still have a mortgage (If British) kids and other dependents, it sucks, but it's capitalism.

I would like to do the same but can't afford the drop in salary...

I feel for you, I really do, my dad had an old friend for 40 odd years. (More or less lost said friend)

He was stupidly high in a job, but wasn't qualified for his position, so couldn't change company, and especially since he had multiple houses on mortgages from broken marriages caused by the job.

Sucks.

Vicious circle.

This net equality support group bullcrap with throttling services. (or anti-support whatever you want to call it)

It's not that hard to understand what would happen, in the meanwhile why don't you keep your services working as intended.
