My SZ1XP/C is still going after ~8 years of faithful service. I've put an extra giggle of RAM in it, added an SSD and replaced the heatsink/fan but other than that it's all original. It works brilliantly as a remote downloading box (except for lack of WoL).yeah chum. loved my old Z, and love my current Z. Atm it looks like I'm going to get a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro because its a fairly decent solution. My only concern is the scaling of fonts. That many pixels demands scaling, and tbh then why get that screen. Point in case being that the Pro is better than the 13, otherwise I'd get that one because it has a more sensible screen.
There was never anything wrong with VAIOs!
(except the price )
Never had to use the support, because the machine itself was so uber....and the support
...and the proprietary parts on their desktops (e.g. PSUs)
...and the shitty bloatware you couldn't remove
both of mine are still going strong; the one I'm typing on and the old one I gave to a friend. She uses it for all her business stuff and loves it. I still think there's no such thing as a bad computer brand(or such), just bad computers.
Must admit I was a bit gutted when Sony pulled out
Ain't that the truth with all the little fanbois wanting a Sony baby of their own
Isn't that sort of an impossible question to answer? How much of that is manmade?
Isn't that sort of an impossible question to answer?
how much of it is natural selection.
