I thought Eddie Izzard was going to be the next Bond ? or was that Dr Who ? or perhaps Tarantino will be directing the next Dr Who ? Now that's a thought !

Anybody who can get rid of the techno-drivel-action-flick that bond films have become would be welcome.

Bring back films like 'The Living Daylights'

The Dalton and Bronson Bonds have been the best ever, that's coming from someone who had to go through the damn-awful Moore years.

I actually remember seeing Diamonds Are Forever (1971) and The Man WIth The Golden Gun (1974) at the cinema !

Moore was great.

Camp, cheesy fun. :D

I agree. Tongue in cheek silliness. And Live & Let Die is one of the best.

He cant do any worse than some of the previous directors, anyway no one is perfect, im sure all the other excellent films he has made far outway the mission impossible film (which wasnt terrible).

I'm with Leggy here, MI1 was a fantastic film, MI2 was a massive disappointment.

All Jon Woo is good at doing are slo-mo sequences.

I'm with me here, both Mission Impossible films were utter shit.

No, no, no, no, no.

Mission Impossible one was very good, if a little daft. Brian De Palma is the man (mostly)

And I'd like to add my vote to the Dalton gang. Living Daylights and License to Kill were good.
