We are still working on fixing the bug on Prydwen but the source of the issue has not been identified yet. We are sorry but we cannot give you an ETA for the restart of the server. Rest assured that solving this problem is the priority of our teams and those of Mythic.

Minor update:


- We have found the cause of the problem on Prydwen and are now searching for a way to fix it. This is quite significant as so far we just seemed to be digging trough the things caused by it without finding the root of the problem.

I'm so glad I don't work for GOA, rock and hard place come to mind:

Scenario 1 - They fix it

Chances of a 100% fix were everyone has everything they had before and nobody Rightnows saying "I lost my 45 feathered wraps I had in my vault" are sort of unlikely. So they'll get a lot of hassle/work.

Scenario 2 - A rollback

By my grandmothers zombie bones that'd cause all sorts of bother. I think that's partly why it's a last resort. I had this happen fairly regularly when playing Ultima Online on the Europa server, rollbacks were pretty common but what a huge amount of bitching went on because of them!

Scenario 3 - 100% hunky dorey

Not going to happen !

Good luck to the GMs, hope you get it sorted by the weekend. Although since it's probably mostly out of your hands and at Mythic no doubt I won't make any plans to play

Update:

Well my secret Xalin hope hasn't materialised. No server today so no clustering tomorrow.

I really doubt that if we get the server back up and running tomorrow we will also cluster right away.

To the regular Prydwen players: We feel your pain we really do but you're going to have to be a bit more patient. Try some other server. Make an all Thane group on Camlann and Mjolnir the heck out of all the level 50's... or something!

it said earlier they finally found the cause, and arnt just following the effects anymore

- Housing crashes and related problems on Excalibur are NOT caused by the same issue as Prydwen (imagine our relieve). They're annoying none the less and are being looked into obviously.

How about putting the last safe copy of pryd on to the test server and letting us play there even if it will all dissapear might be an option.

Yeah but i would rather potter around on one of my chars messing around than creating a lvl 20 mid or hib and doing the same
