Its not a case of get a life but for some people - seriously find more than one thing to do with your time then if DAOC aint working...go do something else - its not hard and surely there is more to life than whining about 1 game not working - I would take bets that 99% of the people here whining have even more than 1 game installed they could play instead...or 1 friend they could phone....or an animal they could abuse to pass the time...

Cumbria just dropped from 89>10 but i presume its the smaller servers being brought up first so the network doesn't get overloaded with mass logins.

aye 2 servers up looks like good news, i was simply making the point its not unreasonable to expect some mind of time scale. Once the problem is identified it shoudlnt be rocket science to say rougly how long they expect to take to sort it. Escpecially since camelot chronicles has been showing camlann and glast as up all day. Give us a clue is all im asking

Not really I asked for the techs fixing the problem to tell us how long they thought it might take, I imagine all the people reading this thread are interested in that. Gimli's sig says he is banned from the game so i fail to see why he is reading or posting here. I cant really see why you fell the need to leap to his defence. My last post responding to you, cant see the point in arguing with some i dont know or care about.

what a load of shit, ive played this game back in beta . (only just 3 weeks ive been back, after 4 yrs away) and still ppl moaning about down time.

I cant think of any on line game that doesn't have shitty bugs that fuck things up for game players.

Yes GOA should be keeping us up to date with the prob, bur let's face it ive never known any of the online game suppliers that ive played ever have.

They have got you like a fish on a hook , your just begging to get back on, and when you do all is fine again. they will most prob give you 1 day free sub, but think about it your there puppet and they can do what they want.

Im not saying the downtime is due to a premeditated action, of coarse they are doing there best, but just think. Do you really want to be some companies puppet ?.

i guess u have no clue about servers and stuff working on it or behind it....
one thing ppl have to understand is that nothing and i mean NOTHING works 100% all the time regarding to computers, servers and the rest of the junk that surrounds it. yeah, i know it sucks big time but thats how it is atm. so these kind of crashes will probably happen again, you can get rid of them 100%, you can only reduce the chanse of that happening
yes, i do allso pay my subs, like evryother person who plays this game, ur not allone here.
the way i post about these things is couse i kinda know how the servers work (not exactly how in GoA, but i can immagine how), i work in the computer industry, and allso im studing computer sience and developement in uni....

and no, im not trying to get a job there nor work there....
