Sorry i didnt mean casters aswell, i meant i'd never been hit by melee for over 500 dmg. I've been hit for 990 dmg or something insane before by an orange kobold caster of some description, that was harsh.

Obviously an armsman cant solo any caster with root or whatever, coz unfortunatly for us theres some cheety spell thing where u mez us for 10 hours, and can cast millions of nukes on us while we're totally defensless. I reckon armsmen should be immune to all mez spells

Every tank in the game has issues with mezz/root , it gets nerfed in later patches and realm skill also help to overcome - essentially you want to pack up in the spirit resist area in the meantime, in the next patch it will make a big difference.

Got 3 50's sorcs me thinks, Stt, Tinaydien and Veeshan - cant come up with any1 else but i DO see a HUGE diffirence when we go CC to put up against both hibs and mids, its much easier. So, lets hope that more ppl rolls a sorcs :>

On that note, Body Resist actually resists what? Root? Not too sure myself :/

Although speaking of the realm abilities, i dont know weather they'll be 'that' good. Because from what i can see, all tank classes in all realms are getting identical skills. Whats the point in that.. ? i know we get different skills to stealthers/casters etc etc, but i reckon its a bit stupid giving every tank class identical abilities.

All tanks classes will share the same realm abilities, but each individual is free to choose which of those skills (s)he purchases (obviously you can't have them all heh).

It will be interesting because everyones choice will differ, and you will never know which they have (I'm guessing they dont have unique gfx effects or sounds etc..).

So you run up to that Tank, mezz the sucker ...but whats this!!! ! He casts Purge (Dispel all negative spell effects), closes on you, casts Grapple (PBAoE 12s root) and merrily bashes your brains in. Others might go for Purge and Ignore Pain (Self heal that heals 100% health, and can be used in combat.)

Sounds cool.

i dont think its 100% insta heal, im pretty sure its only 20% but yea i suppose everyone will have different ones. although i bet most people go for similar ones (no ones gonna wanna pass up insta heal, or purge).

btw in all this hassle, did anyone point out the fact that karams 15.2 polearm is probably 100% qua, while novamirs spears are (im guessing here too) 93% qua?

u might do better dmg than him,but he is shield and spear specced
so in a duel he start out with shield,u wont be able to get a hit in,that equals 0dmg. missing or get blocked cost endurance.so u'll be 50% end soon

slam u 9secs,beat u down to less than 50%hp,u might get to use 3 styles be4 endurance runs totally out.he eats u with 2 more hits

also, this argument IS about who can do the most damage in a single hit. thats what rvr is about. if you dont like it, dont comment, simple as that. i dont mind hibs flaming, coz i dont really like them anyway, but it hasnt got anything to do with albs (unless they're complementing me ).

I dont care that much who can win out of me and him in a duel together, because rvr is called rvr for a reason, its about 20+ man a side battles. 1:1 duelling is pvp, and thats what ruined UO.

p.s, its people in guilds like GM of Squiggle (rock0rz) ?!!!!?!!? that are going to be the death of this game just look at UO, guilds like 1:1 3133+ 0\/\/nZ0r$ everywhere. and calling a guild 'Squiggle' and putting (rock0rz) is just the beginning of the end lol. now most of you will probably start saying, yea but karam your a roxxor n00b like that too, but im not lol, totally not, i hate people like that. i just come on here to piss off hibs and chew bubble gum, and im all outta gum.
