Madrid were woeful in defence yesterday, closing down was non-existent. Now the argument from fans of the spanish league is that they play better more attractive football. Well I disagree, look at Man U and Arsenal, they both play attractive passing football, but they do not suffer from weak defences, and both know how to close down. the culture of spanish football at the moment is what will stop Barca or any other Spanish team winning any European glory over the next few years. They are just not ready to deal with teams that do not capitulate.

For what it's worth, newcastle staying up with mean a nose-bleed trip though, but Hull don't make thing interesting, if they stay up they will do a derby next season.

It was the same for real against barca. They had 6 players in the offense and 4 in the defense the whole match.
