Horrid though but if the Mancs beat City and Wigan and Liverpool beat West Ham that means the Mancs can win the League vs Arsenal :( How crap could knock us out of the CL then Win the league in front of us.

Woah, hold on now. They are introducing competition, sky having all the rights and making a fortune off them is not a good thing. Sky already outbid everyone else by a fair margin. Sky's coverage may be better, but thats because they have had years to get it to that standard, setanta are improving -as for a rip off? Well I get it free with Virgin, if you pay the setanta subscription you are not just doing it for premier league, lots of other footy and cricket as well.

Setanta having less premier league games next season is not a good thing.

Remember that without competition sky can serve us whatever we want and we would have to accept it.

Yep 7 points from 4 games is all we need. It's never over till the fat lady sings, but we would need a total collapse from within to lose it now.

I will never pay for setanta as they charge too much for too little. If i was to get setanta it would only be for premier league games. As such im glad about sky outbidding them for rights. Too many saturday evening games on setanta that mean i need to have laptop on :p

setanta may have given sky competition, but they got to also provide the same quality if they want to be worth while. For the price i would have to pay for it I get way to little in return hence why i dont give them any money

You can bet on it if we have already won the league and make the final. Fergie will play the reserves with a few people like Nani thrown in.

Exactly, their presentation is hilarious at times, its so amateurish. They only have a couple of games a month worth watching and expect people to stump up yet another £10 on top of the sky package. It also pisses me off that they have England games. They should be on terrestrial only.

If the FA aren't careful they could end up with another ITV sports on their hands.

He was fantastic this evening. Three world class saves, and the last one (the point blank reaction save) must be up there for save of the season. Have no idea why we let him go but he is one hell of a keeper now.

Just back from the game and I am having to prick myself to make sure I didn't just dream that. We have THREE POINTS!! Won a game for the first time in three months. Woohoo!

It was a bit backs to the wall at the end with very little composure or confidence being shown, but three points is three points and very welcome at that.

I thought we were the better side. Curtis Davis played well, Friedel did what he had to, Petrov and Barry were classy in possession, Gabby worked hard, Ashley Young and Carew combined very well at times and came together for the goal.

Would be good if we could build on this and put a mini-run together. I so want to send those Geordies down, crying into their ale, in our last home game of the season. And it would be nice to finish fifth, although even a sixth place finish would ensure our first back to back top six finish in donkeys years.

Sorry, a wall of text. Just very relieved :m00:

Oh and EDIT: Hull were much, much better than Stoke. FWIW I think you boys will be safe.

With 3 points today 6th is the lowest you can go now i think 10 points above W Ham.

lets hope it not followed by "fabregas seeks return to barcelona, Adebyor seeks move to AC milan to win trophies, and van persie bored of losing all the top players"

I think Arsenal got no more then 2 more years before some the big names start wanting to move if they not managing to compete. If arsene opens the cheque book for some top talent he be able to stem this tide thoguh

If Arse can stop RVP Cesc Eduardo Kolo and Clichy leaving cash in on Ade and spend the money on players we could be winning stuff in two years he just needs to keep a squad. Look at the amount of midfielders we have lost recently shows why we are so up and down imo.

RVP has said he will sit out his contract with us but wants another Arshavin signed before he signs a new deal. Cesc is a worry but since getting his 80k a week Ade has turned lazy.

I can't argue with that tbh, Arsenal have the basics in place they just need to add some experience and depth to the squad to be fully competitive again, even Fergie acknowledges that and he has no love for Arsenal. Respect for them though? Definately.

Think Vela and Eduardo are your answer tbh, with them and Van Persie fit you do not need Ade. As much as I despise Bendter, he has aquitted himself far better than Ade this season. To think Berba gets stick for being lazy, everyone turns a blind eye to Adebayors work rate.
