Really hoping villa can do the business, so many English players in the squad it would be a great result for English football for them to get in the top 4.... Heskey was definately a good signing, and instant success with the lad :D

I dunno I quite like Lineker as a presenter. Lawrenson and Hansen always make me chuckle as well.

but yeah, Shearer should go.

Of all the Geordies in all the world they had to go for the one without a grain of charisma. Seriously, they could have had anyone but they picked him, I just cannot get my head around it.

I very much doubt that megadave, Rafa is being an absolute twat, he kept the game tonight vs Wigan running about 15 minutes without a sub when Liverpool clearly needed fresh legs. Torres was completely depleted, Babel hasn't got much in him either, fresh legs up front would have sealed the deal for Liverpool I'd reckon, but instead he keeps his subs while Wigan is pushing hard for the equalizer.

Ohh well another 15 minutes to go, hopefully Liverpool won't piss this one away with conceding a late goal.

Gerrard off, Keane in..

My god Rafa has gone mad - there is no saving this now.

To be fair that was a penalty, but Liverpool needs to close the fucking games :(

haha liverpool suck, dropped from 1st to 3rd pretty quickly. shame the freekick hit the bar or they would of really been crying.

arsenal arent doing too great atm, just scored but still wont want to be dropping points.

Anyone taking bets on Liverpool finishing 5th? Might be worth a punt with Villa doing so well, Arsenal slowly recovering and Chelsea finding some confidence again. It the Laaaaa's don't get thier shit together soon thier title bid will be all but done by mid-feb.

Uff, this really sucks :( I reckon pool will finnish 3rd tho. Probably beating Chelsea on sunday but keep giving away points to lower teams as the season goes on.

Jammy bastards :(

oops you spoke too soon. Shows your not ready for top 4 your on fire and could not beat a poor arsenal side at home 4 points for us 1 for you ;)

Seriously though i like Everton they played nice football are hard workers i would not have minded losing too much to them. About the commentators saying he out jumped defensive giants he went up with Clichey who is shorter than him. And also i dis like felani i want to shave his head

Becks is doing really well, not just scoring but playing well, I am delighted for him tbh as he gets alot of bad press from the ABU brigade and they can't wait to see the back of him. Personally I still think he has alot to offer, he is obviously alot fitter now he is playing in Europe again and I defy anyone to name a better dead ball specialist in the work. His corners are generally excellent and his free kicks are on a par with most of the top free kick takers.

Lets put it this way, he ain't half as quick as Ronaldo, he doesn't have the dribbling skills of Ronaldo or score anywhere near as many as Ronaldo but he is a better long range passer, a miles better crosser and corner-taker plus he contributes with tons of assist and the occasional goal. The bloke is top draw and anyone who can't see that is either blind or one of the ABU brigade. You know the sort, the ones who said Giggs was past it 2 years ago and yet he is still consistently in the running for man of the match awards week after week. I love Giggsy and even I had my doubts but he has been utterly brilliant in central midfield when asked to play there.

Listen we can stop letting the little teams have a go anytime we want. We are just letting you and Villa taste whats its like so we we take it back on the last day of the season it hurts all the more. Just ask Spuds we have done it to them ;)

think he means people still relate to him in that way due to his strong united connection.

to be fair i never rated beckham to the level everyone else seemed to, and im a massive united fan. There were just parts of his game lacking too much for him to be a great player in my mind.

no pace, couldnt dribble past players well, couldnt beat players with skill etc etc, however freekicks and picking out a killer pass were abilities he had, just if someone kept tight on him then he disappear from a game and becomes to reliant on others making him space. In united squad this was fine, our overlapping fullbacks often created a yard or two but for England where fullbacks werent as adventurous he could fade too easy.

Probably why he will be suited to the italian league as he will be given that space and time on the ball in order to pick out passes etc. Anyways scored a cracker of a freekick, Milan want him so its looking all good for him to stay there.
