King is finished, his career is virtually over and Spurs need to realise that he will never make a complete recovery.

Ok not prem league but hey it as good a place as any. This as got me looking forward to the Derby match later on even more now, really hope Tosic gets a run out because I feel he going to be a good addition to our team....

that said, with our new signings there could be arguements over freekicks if playing at same time as ronaldo, heh.

I feel the same :( Benayoun gave away a stupid freekick, and Everton has scored like that on more than a couple occasions, so why on earth the defense wasn't tighter around Cahill I will never understand but eh that's football I guess

think you mean "why on earth ws there no defense on cahill".

looked to me they decided it was up to the keeper to mark him, lol

For me, Cahil has got to be one of the best value for money signings of the last decade.

£1.5 million for Cahill
£2 million for Arteta

Not bad business by Moyes really :p I guess Fabregas would have to be among the top though, 250k he cost?

Yes that too, but it was quite "funny" that it was Lucas who gave away a unnecessary freekick in the middle that led to Everton getting the ball up the flank where Benayoun gave away yet another unnecessary freekick. And the defence at the freekick was astonishing :)

It was the first free-kick where Skrtel wasn't abusing Cahill, thats why he scored =) The guy is just awesome!!!

hey hey look what i found a suitable thread :p

0-5 for man utd, blimey but then even hull won 0-3 at the hawthorns so baggies not at their best yet! (lets hope for their sakes they can get there before end of season :p )

tottenham win, aston villa win (with a silly sending off for pompey feel a bit sorry for belhaj but tbh the kick he gave earlier in the game was a bit silly :p )

great goal for heskey to kick off his villa career though and sunderland got a win too making the bottom 15 of the table more and more interesting :p

just watched the extended highlights on sky sports, giggs was involved in every good move. He is playing out of his skin without really running much.

Watched the match and Giggs was pivotal in his role, really dominated with both passing and running.

Thought the game was going to be tighter then it was, great first 20 minutes from WBA but after that it just sort of went downhill, the sending of looked harsh at first as it was 50/50 but I cant decide still... the referee seemed to lose it at times though but this is one of the few referees that loves being centre of attention so explains that.

2 new records for united tonight, that was good. Most minutes without conceeding then finalised with most games without conceeding. VDS didnt have to do anything really to get that record though (and my god how did the post not break on that shot that flew past him. hah). More impressive because apparently in the 11 clean sheets there been something like 8 or 9 different defense makeups. Impressive that with all that changing they still have such strength.

Ronaldo was quiet alot of the time but stepped up with a couple of goals, still not at his best.
Tevez was the usual steam engine and deserved at least a brace. Would love to keep him, but £32m is a big ask.
Berbatov starting to gel much better, and to be fair he seems better with tevez then with rooney.
Carrick, like giggs, had some good movement and passes. He beginning to play to his potential.

Hmm, i be quiet now. lol.

Great result for Villa tonight. Our players looked out on their feet at the end, here's hoping MON will bring in 1-2 more players at least in this window.

Fratton Park is not our happiest hunting ground so to pick up three points there is a huge boost. Arsenal will still probably finish in the top four but we're doing our bit for the integrity of the competition -- no procession this year for the Sky Four.
