Poor places with poorly educated people sold 'better financial deal' vote that way unfortunately.

Myrthr Tydfil voted out of the EU, even though their roads, bypasses, schools, leisure centre and major tourist attraction (Bike Park Wales) was funded significantly by the European Development fund - because it's a poor shithole.

Also happens to be the only place on my South>North wales bike ride where a welsh chav in a 3 series beemer buzzed me on my bike, before stopping and yelling at me that I shouldn't be on the (empty) road.

Almost enough to make me think screw 'em all, but kids live there too, along with, I'm sure, nice people.

Yeah but the EU are to blame for the closure of Welsh businesses, not the Tories.

Or even maybe not the Tories, the financial crash, perhaps?

Oh, wait, the foundations of the financial crash were laid by Thatcher and her laissez faire deregulatory action.

So, er, yeah. The tories. :)

The Guard is doing an expose of populism, its all very aloof.
You just know they are dying to write.
Thick fucks dont understand.

So they just go for populism as a dig.

Its all the liberals have left, they have retreated with their assumed superiority even deeper into the bubble.

Hans Olaf, German conservative MP pointed out in one of his speeches that the UK leaving is the same as 19 of the smallest countries leaving.

When you look at it like that.

Still not providing links, because you're a lazy cunt. Don't even care if it's on the front page, if you can't be arsed linking you're a twat.

Same goes with your post above. Everything you type is defaulted to: bullshit. Without links it's been proven time and again that you just make stuff up.

Been through it before @Job. You shouldn't expect people to hunt. It can take an age with obscure stuff when it takes you less than 20 seconds to link things.

It's common courtesy.

Actually there’s a big thing about this today. 81% of people always provide links to the material they are discussing.

The Guard bigs up its populist quiz as extensively studied and implemented by academics.

Turns out to be utter drivel you would expect from the Sun.

How populist are you?

Apparently I'm a left-ish, very non-populist. I like the second bit but still feel I'm a centrist really. Maybe the Overton window has shifted and not wanting to burn the poor counts as lefty these days.

If you don’t make up your mind soon we’ll just throw you out.

This has become a massive farce by now

If the EU weren't being such childish cunts over every issue on the table this would have been done and dusted ages ago, instead they make everything difficult and to extreme enough to be totally unacceptable. Britain needs to actually stand firm and say you don't get a fucking penny more out of us until this shit is done.

The EU has had a pretty stable position on every issue from the beginning, the parade of clowns from UK gov on other hand...

I don't think UKGov are being clowns really.

It's an impossible situation; we're negotiating with people that don't want to or need to negotiate, and we're also sending people that don't really want to leave.

I'd love to know what the total bill is for all these negotiations.

About 40bn

I really really fucking hope that you've misunderstood what I mean...

I mean the total bill for organising the negotiations, the cost of the referendum etc etc. Not the 'divorce bill'

Jesus, yes..they are fantastic, just a glorious shining light of sensibility that every country looks up to with a beam of economic and trade perfection in the eyes.

Actually no, they have fucked up most of what they have touched.
