This version must be started with obse_loader.exe, which is located in the same directory as the play files.



Rough list of whats included

- more hand placed items,
- no leveling monsters
- 100% replaced textures and parallax maps, much improved and makes the game look like a 2009 game for sure,
- new and interesting quests with full voice acting (and it is pretty damned good),
- hundreds of new and interesting weapons and armors
- many many new creatures to play with
- new kick ass fighting system with shield bash, kicks, decapitations (and other such gore), and new and very cool dodging system.
- Completely revamped and improved leveling system
- New replacement landscapes to make the more boring areas of cyrodil much more beautiful and interesting.
- different and attractive character models and clothing/armor to match
- martial arts to replace the shabby hand to hand system
- revamped ui that works much better on a pc then the old version
- improved lighting and darkness system that makes the nights and dungeons much creepier and interesting, and that makes light sources an absolute necessity.
- changes to the npcs to make them more unique and interesting with more interesting people traveling the roads, like traveling merchants and what not
- improved sneaking and theft version, along with non psychic guards
- changes to sizes of races to more differentiate their statures to make the differences cooler and more interesting
- a completely new and very deep crafting system
- changed and enhanced economy
- Breasts that softly bounce when moving
- and seriously many many more possibilities

yep, they have changed the game quite drastically without modifying the original files so there is a fair bit of duplication
e.g. you can chop bits off ><

It's better to look at it as Oblivion 1.5 rather than a addon

I played FCOM Convergence mod quite a bit - sounds somewhat similar to this mod, but for me oblivion isn't coming back I think

Currently there is only the usenet file up but Rage3d (link above) said they will have a torrent up by this afternoon

I still havent even scratched the surface on the stalker mod ><, i seem to download more mods than actually playing

Natural Selection 2 (as a full game) is incoming soon too >< pre-orders are up on their website

I only played Oblivion years ago - I didn't like it because quests were boring, mobs scaled with you (I know that's changed here), the game was far too easy (not just because of scaling but because of bad AI), leveling was completely mindless since you got skill-ups for like auto-running into a wall, and the whole turning into a vampire thing was completely retarded. Has all that changed?

Oh and the loot system was boring, I obtained the best set of gear back then (glass something) within a few hours of playing ;<

only at the beginning atm, but theres a whole bunch of new stock weapons and the mod manager has loads of new creatures/item mods.
