I just think NP is afraid to try new group setups out cause they might lose :x

I actually laughed at the first post here. Its so easy to make it more challenging and fun(savage fotm group is not fun FYI).

Try using different classes in group? Not just det classes...

Some days you get 20 people online who want to RvR, sometimes you get 5. Sometimes you can fill 2 good groups and go different places, sometimes their paths cross, sometimes they have to stick together to have a chance at not being chain-farmed.

about BM leading: seems to work, since both bm and bard usally are celts so the mincer/pac healer will single insta him.

about xana: eh, you seem almost reasonable. also fun to see the differance between skilled players as most np guys, and fotm "wanna-pwn-and-pretend-to-be-l33t" jh.

about deter: imo, only armsmen/heros/warriors should have deter. a fight with 2 tank groups with only those classes as offensive... that would be fun. was a long time since i had a fun fight, most dont last more then 20 sec. BF was really fun to fight, healers got rezzed 3 times each, you remezzed eachother 2-3 times etc

The hib caster group you suggested is nasty as well although very rare to see on excal.

Also BF seem to be waiting for the asd fix before rvr'ing on excal again and FC usually only field 1fg per night these days Plenty of random alb groups out in emain though like u said

everytime i meet ss they are 2 fg, have had maybe 1 or 2 encounters with 1 fg. I dont care, if you enjoy that play that way. But i can say from the reciving end of the stick. BF and FC are M U C H thougher than anything i have seen ss field. Maybe i have yet to see your "best guild group"

Sorry if i enjoy running with 1 good fg, its horrible that some people like to play like that isnt it? =(

His intention could have been advice (aswell as flame) you just didnt take it as advice, you assumed it was a flame. I whould have said the same thing, maybe in a different "tone", and i whould have given it as advice.

but "the mezzer not leading" works very well actually... and the sorc bolt range mezz advantage is very small...

And your point is what?? Where did Belomar or Pin say that our guild groups are stronger than that of BF or FC?

As for everytime you meet SS we are 2 fg's that is horsehit m8. For a while now we have only been running with 1fg. The times that you have encountered 2fg's will be times when we have been on a keep raid or have 2fg's running independently that have maybe crossed paths at a milegate. And who cares wether we run 1fg, 2fg 3 fgs or arent as strong as BF or FC. I would rather log on and have fun with good friends than worry about my performances in RvR.

It's not every time, but well if you think it's fun for you to play the game chewing through anything that comes at you with little chance on the other side then great.

It's certainly not fun from the other side.

And if there's a RR7-9 Savage gank group around and we have 2 groups mostly RR3-5 in different parts of the zone we'll team upto face you. We're not (quite) so stupid as to go seperately just to tick up your RP counters another 5k.

Enjoy to play what way? Enjoy to 'challenge' you as 1fg, die in 30secs, and spend another 15 minutes porting and buffing? Or enjoy keeping track of where you are to stay on the opposite side of the zone as you?

I'm not saying ANY group that SS can put together will be able to challenge you on even numbers, you have everything stacked in your favour. Experience, realm rank, classes and routine.

And of course a BF/FC group will put up a better fight, they average 3+ RR higher than us. They play in the same groups each day. They all play longer hours and won't leave the tk unless they have everything they need, etc.

You don't run in '1 good fg'. You run in a group which is leagues ahead of the other realms' best groups. You run in a fixed group with the same players for 6+ hours every session. You have 3 (?) full aug shamans for the group sat in the safety of the pk, so your precious Savages don't lose any effectiveness when a support char or 2 drops.

You play the game as pure routine, churning through enemies as they come to you, crying about unfair play whenever you die to larger numbers, caring little for anyone elses enjoyment of the game when you mow them over for the 10th time in a row. You throw 'insults' around at anyone who isn't in the position to dedicate their lives to 'building the perfect group', failing to realise that a VERY large portion of the game's population lacks the time or finances to do everything required to compete with you on 'equal terms'.



So, keep thinking you are on the moral high-ground as much as you want, but basically it just comes down to you and your friends having more time on their hands.

It's not 'skills', it's just practice.

If giving advice, it's generally a good idea to put some actual advice in the post. Replacing the flame with it would be good.
