When I played mid/excal back in april 2002. I was xp'ing with a group in yggdra forest, and this uber paladin with PLATE ARMOR came and started to hit us. I was like OMG!! He was purple and had leet gear!! But somehow we managed to kill him -- best feeling EVER in a MMORPG lol =)

Also I remember a scout called Odysseus or something, that kept 1-shotting my thane in Yggdra Forest

Stuck in the Middle..

Playing my Zerk in a huge RvR battle not long after DF first opened... In old emain between Mid gate + Alb Gate.. 4-5 fgs of Albs in a stand off against 4-5 fg of Mids..No one daring to charge (just the thanes trying to Mjolner from the front i remember). Starting to regret rolling a zerk due to lack or ranged abilitys when wham...a load of hibbies charged right in between and all hell broke lose..Felt like a kid in a candy store hittting F8 moving from one target to the next..Big thanks to Sorenti for keeping me alive + Big thanks to Bulwye as was him who invited me out that day.....

1: First day of DAoC... Started my norseman viking in Vasudheim. I was afraid to run to far away from vasud if i might not know the way back again

2: Was in DF when there were big fights when it changed ownership. We lost DF to hibs and fought for about 2 hours at our stairs great action, suddently a guy says that we should charge hibs, and we ended up camping their stairs like, 4-5 fg's Was so cool..

more old memories used to be in that guild with them doing so nicely from level 15-50... then it fell apart because of some shitty attitudes, some nice funny people in that guild, jazhara, alpha, gromit, stekeltje (who was in LoD, but always exped with us and he was ice at that time!!!).. think only gromit(whom is alpha now also) still plays.

Not an RvR moment, but no amount of RPs can top this

This was around the summer of 2003, the first time I saw DaoC. My brother had just rolled his first char, a scout, and I was watching him play at his starting point somewhere in Campacorentin forest, probably the most mood filled place in the game.

A player approached and asked "Do you want this?", and we were given some dodgy 92 qual weapon drop or something, which ofcourse was awesome compared to the already green con 85 qual starter weapon. It was good enough a weapon to slash our way further through the forest.

The sight of the tall trees appearing out of the green mist with the river running through the forest and all the sounds around us was just amazing. I remember it felt like we had been walking for ages through that huge forest when suddenly a large building started to show between the trees, walking a bit closer to get through all that dark green mist, and before us stood Caer Ulfwych!

That was nice time when i was at CP 3 arms on grp 0 clerics we knew couldnt do nothing but well its better die than keep at amg seeing the ds .

Not sure really.. First RvR moment i can remember was waaaaay back in beta, it was final day of open beta and all of hib, from lvl 1 to lvl 37 i think was highest at the time ran to emain bowl for a massive 3-way battle with mids/albs .. needless to say, as a lvl 12 mentalist i died pretty fast hehe, was too busy looking at lvl 32 druid pet.. blody HUGE lynx


In normal Pve... probably when i first started out playing in beta trying out a druid, was part of a LAN group here and we were all about lvl 3.. i was only a naturalist at the time , anyway down by connla swimming over the river.. we ran over 2 hills to get wtfpwned by an Olliphiest

Best fight i ever had was in odin due a albion relic raid on Mjollnir,
when hibs were cutting of albs at milegates, and me and 2 other infils wich all had Dancing blade..

AMG room was full of hibs... ^^, and we killed em all in 2 secs ;p

First Dungeon.
Visting first S.I dungeon (real eye candy compared to old dungeons)
Killing Dragon first time
Getting your first glowy weapon drop (when they where hard to get)
Doing ML1 and killing Cetus for first time.
Oh and seeing new toon with catacombs..

Best memorie is playing my warrior on prydwen killin blue con in Yggdra Forest seeing a Highlander (Smite Cleric) comming up to me i was shitting myself but instead he got naked started dancing with me lol then Matrix the lvl 50 Thane came along to own him but the cleric spanked him while putting is armour back on

Hearing about a Hunter on Mid/Pry cant remeber his name stealthed past guards at CS and went around Alb killing lowbies lol he got a ban though

I've got lots of great memories of grouping with HG and running around like loons in HW. But my favourite solo memory was in NF, running to some keep or other and getting spotted by an animist, who started bolting me with those weirdo ball things. When I stunned him and smited him to death you could almost HEAR the swearing. I think he'd never met a smite cleric before
