If I keep my finger pressed on one button, while levelling in some bug-abuse-free way, and never bother to reply to any messages (most probably I'd seem AFK that way, let's say I removed all chats but /gu and no one is talking, cause it's late at night) would I get banned if I was up for a check up?

I daresay that if you deliberatly go out of your way to make it appear like you may be AFK even if your not (like for example, keeping one button constantly pressed down and ignoring any PM's from GM's), then yes, you might get banned, even though you havn't technically broken any rules.

I dont think you can filter out what the GM is saying to you, but there is a way to put close button on the chat window in the new toa ui interface, that way you can close down chat totaly and it is impossible for you to see any chat. dont know goas stand on that tho

menta sticks down his hotbutton with pet in target

buffbot buffs pet with lotsa buffs and sticks down his FOPbutton

voila, autoxping! and u just need 3 PCs to do this. Drawback is, you get no loot from it.

Doubt its acceptable though

I dunno how its breaking the CoC though, pet on defense dont attack mobs others have pulled (mobs attack pet in this situation), you dont use a macro or a 3rd party tool. (unless you wanna count a weight to push down a button as a 3rd party tool but then a lot of xpers at 4fins is breaking the CoC all of a sudden since lots of ppl do exactly this)

This is imo a borderlinecase, ban or not ban? I havent dared to actually try this setup since I dont want a ban but would be nice to know for sure what rules applies to a setup like that.

UI's are a part of the game, the only difference is that Mythic allowed them to be customisable with TOA. Should I underline the allowed bit? Yes... yes I think I will. I'll even go one better and give it lots of other fancy effects so it stands out.

Though my 'post' was done before Requiel's my own opinions are pretty much in line with his, does that mean i'm a suckup as well? Does that mean I snitched on people? Or is it just that because you've got no decent counter-arguement your pulling shit out of your ass?

I find it insulting that some people are trying to defend people who cheat using weak excuses such as "Everyone does it" - I know its cliché but if everyone started jumping off a cliff would you do it? i was afk once in odins with pet on aggressive in a quite desolate place with nothing around, when i came back later i noticed he killed 3 stealthers (my redcon pet did more damage then them)

am i gonna get banned now?

No. If you had read this thread (and the related one), you will see Requiel saying that strictly speaking, exping AFK with a pet is not illegal per se since the pet is just doing something it would normally do, and does not require human intervention. However, if you are afk-exping and your pet happens to aggro someone else's pulled mob, you are in deep trouble.

Of course, don't take my word for it, look up Requiel's post for yourself to be certain.
