Introducing Tavern Brawl!
Tavern Brawl is a new way to play Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft!



Each week, a different Tavern Brawl will pit you head to head versus another player using exciting and unique rules. One week might feature preset decks, while another week could have you crafting a brand new Tavern Brawl deck following specific guidelines, while others might offer buffs to specific minion types—who knows!

Tavern Brawl can be found below the Play, Solo Adventures, and the Arena buttons on the main Hearthstone screen. You may have to toughen up before entering the fray—Tavern Brawl is unlocked once a player has a level 20 Hero.

The possibilities for fun inside Tavern Brawl are endless— the only thing you should expect is the unexpected!




Brawl with Buddies



While it’s fun to get into Tavern Brawls with strangers, it’s also a blast to brawl with your buddies! To start a Tavern Brawl with a friend, enter the Tavern Brawl menu, open your Friends List, and push the ‘Challenge’ button next to your friend’s name. After they accept, press the Brawl Friend button and let the battle begin!

GET IN HERE
The first playable Tavern Brawl arrives in Mid-June, so get ready to pile on and knock some heads together. Brawls get plenty rowdy, so the Innkeeper will definitely need a couple of days after each one ends to get the inn all tidied up before the next brawl begins. That means Tavern Brawls are temporarily closed while the Innkeeper cleans up before a new, different brawl starts—so be sure to get a match or two in while you can! Stay up to date on when the next Tavern Brawl begins by keeping an eye on the official Hearthstone Twitter andFacebook.

Tavern Brawls will have free admission when the new mode becomes available. As part of the launch celebration, you'll earn a free card pack when you win your first game of the week in the first several brawls!

I don't mind net decking kiblers deck because he comes form a Magic rich background unlike most other HS players. It's a fuck deck but against aggro decks like zoo lock or facehunter its heavily reliant on the muligan, if you don't have a 1-3 drop you're fucked pretty much.

Yeah it's a ncie deck, though i automatically dislike decks that run doctor boom for no apparent reason. Just there because it's "op". You could make that deck more dragony, now it's just a dragon'ish.

So, normally I get to around rank 14-15, generally I get bored and just don't bother for the rest of the season.... how on earth did I get to rank 13 when I was drunk the other night, found this on my desktop

That hand is why

Frostbolt his coined drop(probably mechsummoner), play sorc+portal on 3 and bash his second drop with the wyrm, play 3 or less(from portal) straight onto board, or get a massive guy on board turn 5-6 and win game.

Never played a mage before

This dragon warlock works quite well tbh Toht 4/4 for it so far. People just cannot keep up with the constant flood of 4+ cost minions you keep dropping, they run out of clears rather quickly.

I could probably drop one of the BGH but after using both against a patron with 2 buffed Frothings its awfully tempting just to keep them things I did notice was the lack of early game, if I don't draw faeries or chows or blackwing techs (with dragon in hand) i'm in trouble unless I have dark bombs to throw out until turn 4... could maybe do with another 2-3 cost minion.

I completely forgot about the dragon eggs tbh, they hadn't even crossed my mind lol. I wasn't too keen on Dragon Sorc though, using power overwhelming on it just seems like a waste given its effect.

Yeah, but you can have things like imp-plosion etc. I jsut threw that together for kicks and shows

Been saving my gold because i want to see how the rewards etc come from that, probably going to buy classic packs though, not really keen on the legendaries in GvG(that i'm missing) and there's some fun ones back in vanilla.

Yeah it's a fun taste, but it really needs a lot more to be viable. Especailly if it's just one mode for almost a week.

There's space on the screen, a rank or some such placeholder at top and i'm sure the win counter means something too.

Have to see when it's properly out.
