Got ma ps2, lovely.

Scrap my choice of Re2, I've changed my verdict. Resident Evil is great and code veronica has had my attention but Grand Theft Auto 3 is fooking brilliant. Imo- GTA3 is the best yet.

Devil May Cry is also very cool indeed.

i predict you'll be bored of it soon enough, the original became very boring quickly even after first impressions were very high, the same is with GTA3, however, im not bored of it yet, but the fun factor has somewhat died down a little :/

Have'nt even started on the fun factor i.e running around on mad killing sprees and hit and runs. The missions are incomparable to the ones found in the original. I'm constantly finding little touches that only appear in classic modern titles, i.e Half-Life, Black and White and Metal Gear Solid. The original Gta/2 were dull, only fun to be had was pissing about. This version is Gta in name and little else.

Gta 1 and 2 we're nothing compared to this. The radio stations, the cars, the attention to detail, the massive sprawling 3d city is unbelievable. I'll be suprised if this game does'nt become the benchmark of not only mature games but of gameplay in this genre. The best voice acting ever and lots of it, its absoulutly huge, www.ign.com claim between 70-80 hours. I'd have bought a ps2 prior to getting one for Christmas just for this. It's pure gameplay. The graphics are very good, high and consistent fps and seems mostly high-ish resolution.

Sorry for going on a bit, but I thought Devil May Cry and Mgs2 were the ones to wait for but this is worth the £200 alone, imo.

Don't wait for the pc conversion, get a ps2 and get this.

I just spent two days with 23 people (family gathering Christmas thing :/), and was suprised to find an N64 with a copy of Mario Kart. What occured then was such a fantastic part of gaming. 6 people, 4 playing at a time, the two losers change with the spectators, on Luigi raceway again and again. Was the best gaming experiences i've had in a long time.
