All time classic Anything by Ultimate on the speccy, execpt for Underwurlde, too damn frustrating. Knightlore and Alien8 were the first games to use 3D movable objects

I never understood why Rare were held in such high esteem. They wrote a crap fps which ran at about 3fps, took about 4 years to follow it up with another crap fps that ran at 4 fps (ah so thats why it needed the expansion pack), then did Conker's Bad Fur Day.

And people say they're better than Polyphony why?

Final fantasy 7 is the best RPG, if not the best game of all time. Fantastic characters and twisting plot and a difficult to learn easy to master combat system. I have the ultimate materia combination that makes you invincible but it took me 90 hours of gameplay to get.
If anyone disagrees with me then they are wrong and should go back to playing poncey Mario and Sonic as ff7 is to difficult for them. Especially you MT.
I have a friend who claims he completed the game in 17 hours, *cough*"bullshit"*cough* I said. He got angry. I ran.

a) Sonic is not poncey. It's still is a great game (except for those sequals)

b) FF7 was not too difficult. It just bored the pants off me. But it's got Mr. T in disguise, I'll give ya that.

Resident Evil

Resident Evil 2 is the one of the best games ever made. All have been good apart from Survivor- which I never played but got a rough idea of what it smells of.

Resident Evil 2 is the greatest console game ever- atmospheric and stylised, pure quality. I think Re1 was a bit dull really, the acting in the fmv made me larf too much and the tension was over before the game had started. Glad they ditched that approach.

Dunno about Re:cv, gonna get it soon anyway. Probally gonna buy a Gamecube just for the remakes and no.4 as well
Oh and the new Zelda game.

Capcom=Fucking brilliant games.

Look at the fanbase, very popular in Japan. Popular in America- to such an extent they just finished making the film (which has had to be renamed from re: ground zero to re:genesis for obvious reasons).

Also popular in Europe, personally I can't think of any franchise on any platform that has achieved such worldwide acclaim. Thank you Capcom.

resi 1 was superior to resi 2 because of the cheesy acting in the fmvs, they made the game. Although I did like resi 3.
Has anyone read the books, they're pretty good.

Back to the whole ff7 thing. I'm guessing you only like action games MT, lots of killing and running around as opposed to thinking about your next move?

Final fantasy 7 was really good untill u got into the ultra low resolution fight monsters every two seconds outdoor bit.

Then it got dull making treks across the landscape cos u knew it was gonna take hours. FF8 was good also but the storyline was just as illegible.

Resident 1 was great but the atmosphere in Re2 was tops. It was longer than Re1 and the storyline followed a more George Romero style (Dawn of the Dead, got the fully uncut 20th anniversary edition). Re3 was also quality- Im looking foward to playing Re:cv x on Christmas Day. One question though, does it feature the Weskers report DVD?

So the whole materia thing meant nothing to you, if you'd played the game properly you'd know that you had to make sure yo didn't use the wrong magic on the wrong creature, admittedly the whole random fight thing was annoying but think where you'd have been without them when you faced a boss?

8 was ok but there were too many plot holes not filled in by the end. For example, towards the end some of the characters hinted that Laguna might have been Squall's father, but nothing came of it by the end.

9 I have yet to finish.
