well its different saying that albs never do relic raids primetime, since we always start them on primetime but then the hibgard alliance comes and stops us until we finally get it done late at night.

its not like we are on alarm clock raids

I believe every single raid in NF where Midgard has taken a relic (i.e. when it was lifted) was prime time; tis a shame Albion with the NF advantage use such lame tactics.

You mean every successfull raid has been primetime, cos mids sure attempted AC raids..2 attempts on hurbury the past week. both after 3AM.

Anyway, all AC raids are lame... upsetting mids is good though.

we have attacked hurbury with fg or 2fgs late at night when theres nothing else to fight aswell, so dont see the problem rly

imo if its not a planned raid at 6am or sumtin with 50+ then i think u can still do it with horner!!!

shrug.. it's just a game, people wont stop doing a thing just because it the clock passed 2 am, no matter if it's CET or GMT. Be it attacking a relicholding keep or camp a bridge. They play to have fun and wont abort just because a thread about "hornor" will appear on FH (it will come anyway, no matter what time of the day the relic is taken).

It seems some clarity needs to be provided here, its been said by achai and a few others who were on the first couple of fens tower raids last night that this was never intended to be a RR. We were just 2 fg of albs from mixed guilds who wanted to do some tower farming. First time we kinda got pwned fair enough. So we regrouped and went back for more and held out for a while until a load of mids finally found the courage to charge. After this we went around defending hurb t4 and the plan was to retake eras hibbie tower, at this point a few of us logged including me so i guess they just thought, hey lets take another go at fens before we go to sleep. Its called psychological warefare i believe, beating down the enemy until they cant do it anymore. So if you wana get technical, this raid started bout 8:30 pm GMT and finished whenever the relic ended up bak with the albs.

so it wasnt a AC raid ...............

Believe it or not, u guys attacked fensalir in the night and took it, its a 24h game after all but u guys are even pretending its a fucking primetime raid(8:30).

Come back with a more decent excuse as this was just pathetic

War of attrition; the same way kilgordes raids were done very early on in the life of the server when he simply kept on and on bringing the albs out to defend so they would eventually get bored. And then one time he struck after the albs had been worn down after 2 weeks of keep raids and walked away with little resistance as the albs thought it was just another keep raid.

In the BG on the way the first time, we were going to be taking another tower instead BUT fens TOWER still had a damaged door so we thought why not. We were then beaten in one foul swoop inside the tower because of a couple of stupid errors at which point some others logged and more joined (still only 2fg).

On the way for the second time, we thought we'd just get wiped again by the wall repairers but to our suprise the wall had not been repaired a single bit and there were no mids present until we had the tower on flames on the warmap again. Then the few usual hunters appeared but only when the tower was lost again did mids start turning up. We then had a nice fight for around an hour with which wejust farmed a bit and took the wall down some more (to 20%). We were then killed by a zerg and said fair enough, thats it.

We then spent a good hour and a half to 2 hours in the alb frontier chasing annoying small groups shooting doors after which I logged. I was on my 'tic for at least an hour after that and albs weren't on fens yet so there was a LONG time with which fens wall was left at 20%.

Then 20 albs went back to see the wall STILL unrepaired so they took it down and got the relic.

Much as the mids said to us when we didn't pay attention, it was your own fault. It would have only taken a few people to stay behind out of the 50 or so zerg to repair the wall and this wouldn't have happened. Albs have had the exact same thing happen to us with which it was our own fault too so it's not a gloat etc.

While I liked the mids having that relic cause it meant guaranteed responce when you took a tower, I also thought it'd have been nice to have been taken during primetime which is kinda annoying

The point which has been bought up by the mids in this though is that they have done the exact same thing, taking 20 people to go and try to take down hurbury late at night which is why I don't understand why people are getting up on the moral high horse here, albs OR mids because we're all guilty of the same things (even hibs too now).

I suppose we were going to lose the relic/s one day and as a 24hr game, no one can complain.

But it was a bit lame :> Get some jobs you damn albs!

I suppose the fight will move from the Midgard shores to the Alb shores now, same tower bashing, different view

not much to be said , albs tried for like a week with alarm clocking fens , even with low mid numbers we beat them the first 4-5 times the allergy ppl tried this.

with such persistence from albs ( at 03 cet each night for a week lol ) , it about time you got it back id say /cheer

Gratz albs, still it's a bit lame, but again not the first time and yes 24/7 game, but it should be more fun when doing primetime if the servers can keep up

at 05:30 cet i received 1350 rp for defending fens and repairs started and what few people where there started loggin off ,so yes there were mids present at fens when u came back , like 3-4 buffbots and some stealths and the lfg warrior who came by.

one thing is to claim you had fun , im sure you did , i did too at fens , but to say that you had resistance taking it might be extending the thruth a bit.

if you wanted the we are late night roleplayers thing you would ofc have hitted another keep a week in a row , hitting fens continously at 03 cet can hardly be classed as anything but alarmclock raiding.

i do like alarmclock raids as much as the next player , no hard feelings on you pulling one , but dont gimme the there were plenty of mids defending it was a fair fight routine

Unless Albs have done about five AC raids in the month or so I've not been playing, that's nonsense. I'd like to see you put up some evidence for your claim.

How about monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday....saturday and finally sunday they did it. Every night between 3-6 am in the last week, Fensiliar has been attacked, and on sunday night, mids prolly gave up at 6am thinking "they gotta sleep sometimes?!?".

And whered you get this 5 AC raids from btw?
