So, the first time this season it doesn't open with the credits and the music, but it opens on a big reveal. A big surprising reveal. Big enough that they break with series convention so the viewer can go "what the actual fuck!!!!".

Apart from me. I couldn't do that. Because selfish cunts can't use a simple forum feature that's there to enable people who's enjoyment is severely curtailed by knowledge of what's coming up to still participate in threads, without ruining their fun.

It's basic politeness really.

Hyped for the possible return of the hound tomorrow

I'm glad it doesn't ruin your enjoyment @Big G. But it totally fucks mine. So I can't come into this thread any more. Which as far as I'm concerned is a massive fucker because this is the *only* place I interact online.

But meh. You can only try so much.

Enjoyed the episode. Enjoy the rest of the season folks.

I don't think it was a spoiler. He simply made a guess based on the name of the title and the fact he never died on camera. There is no need for a spoiler there unless you are reversing your position on the use of Spoilers for speculation?

Bit of a leap of thought from 'Episode 7' isn't it??

I'm not sure how this will lead into "Clegane-bowl" - Sure it seems as if The Hound has found religion as it was a church with another septon which brings similarities for The High Sparrow.

However it was Brotherhood without Banners who done the massacre'ing - Lead (We're to believe) by Lady Stoneheart/Stark, this sounds more like it's a collision course with BwB as opposed to The Mountain/King's Landing.

Since he has already gone up against BwB when he was with Arya, thus any crimes committed were wiped out due to his battle with Dondarrion, will Stoneheart have the same attitude?

Just can't see now how they will lead him to High Sparrow! At least if the septon was alive he could have guided him there so...

Speculation

A fight between the two brothers seems unlikely to me. Westeros is huge, there are plenty of other people around who could kill either of them. I think it's more likely that they'll never meet again.

I've read all this. I haven't seen the last three episodes. Spoilers or not it really hasn't made a blind bit of difference.

I read what @Aoami wrote and it didn't affect my enjoyment of the episode at all. My reaction to seeing The Hound was "oh, there's The Hound". I'm not sure what sort of euphoric experience I dodged by knowing beforehand that he *might* make an appearance.

Jesus. Do not read this read if you don't want to interact with people who read about Game of Thrones, watch Game of Thrones, speculate about Game of Thrones, or god forbid, read Guardian / Telegraph / Random newspaper articles about Game of Thrones.

The Hound is back!! He is going to face his brother for Queen Cersei's trial by combat. How that goes is anyone's guess. I'm rooting for the hound! Hate! Revenge! It's never too late to stop killing people!

That said, next episode looks amazing! Gendry is back! Lannister backstabbing is back! The queen chooses violence! Hell yeah! Bring on Sunday!

Oh, spoilers. I mean serious fucking spoilers. Or speculation. Do not fucking read if you have not read the books. Or unless you want to whinge like Scouse for eternity....

The Kingslayer in the Riverlands.
Brienne in the Riverlands.
Brotherhood without Banners mentioned in previous episodes. Repeatedly.
Are we going to see Lady Stoneheart?

Who the fuck is Lady Stoneheart?
Catelyn Stark resurrected, to bring revenge on those who wronged her. SCOUSE! WHY ARE YOU READING THIS???

I didn't read his comment, but it wasn't a big surprise after seeing the episode title. And besides that it wasn't a big reveal it was more like "oh shit there he is!" right from the get go of the episode

Definitely not a spoiler.... In the books it is inferred he is pottering about but not confirmed. As for Gendry, you sure that wasn't pod? Not sure they will introduce LSH at this time if they do it will be kinda fun

I have always thought it would be Tyrion. It would be poetic.

Although knowing Martin, the Mountain could well just go nuts and cave her head in.

My guess (guess as in I would be surprised if it is any other character) is Tyrion or Jaime, with Jaime being the more interesting choice :)

I think it will be Arya but that is mainly because it is what I want.

A wild guess but what I hope for. John Snow and Daenerys married and chasing the Lanisters Out of Kings Landing. Sansa the Warden of the North at Winterfell after the White Walkers are all killed. Then just have flash backs to Arya killing Walder Frey, Little Finger and Cersei. I really want the Starks to win. I also think the Black Dragon will recognise John Snow and he will start riding it into battle and that Bran will Wrog another one. That is now the White Walkers and the Boltons will get killed.

From the way the book was going, I was suspecting the other dragon riders would be Tyrion and Eurion. It strongly hinted that each would have its own rider.

I personally don't think that Daenerys is going to be the saviour of Westeros everyone thinks she is...

She is a conqueror, descended form a long line of Dragon-Wielding psychotic conquerors... just throwing it out there...

Why should it end happily? Doesn't seem to fit with how George thinks.

George doesn't give a hoot about killing off characters. No one is safe.

Wonder if John Bradley will lose the pounds after the show.
