What Scouse said. Speaking from experience you should never do that.

You should really rest it off mate, you said yourself you'd take a months rest if it continues. The half marathon isn't worth it.
Will run on Tuesday and if it twinges again ill rest it whole of jan.

What is amusing about that video is that men are now such pussy whipped little bitches that they even respond to that.

If those men spent less time in the gym worrying about their self esteem and more time in the pub learning conversational skills then perhaps they'd have had a single funny comeback between them. But they didn't.

Did I say "amusing"? I meant depressing :(

Mmmm, how many of you eat back your calories?

500 kcal deficit for me is 1,800kcal - Which is simple enough. If I do any cardio on top of that, plus maintaining 150g (close enough to LBM in lbs) of protein I should logically start dropping weight (Not taking into consideration weight training, which I realllly need to get back into) maybe just over 1lbs or so a week. 5 1/2kg of (logically) fat in 3 months.

[Not taking into consideration other dietary factors etc]

Some weeks probably. But I'm not doing it to lose weight particularly - though that's a happy bonus.

I definitely feel better and sharper (measurably so on fast days) than I did before.

I dunno what your diet is but I dropped almost 9lb in 2 days after coming back from holiday and going from heavy carbs to keto again. It was all water weight.

No. As long as your carb intake is <20g/day and not all at once you'll be in keto.

Starting the infomercialtastic Insanity on Monday. Had good results with P90X on the run up to Christmas. Massive strength and flexibility gains. Hoping for similar cardio fitness gains over the next 60 days and good bf % results too.

Gonna start P90X in a couple of weeks depending on physio

Excellent, I really enjoyed it. I made the mistake of not going as hard as I could for the first few weeks, I was afraid of injuring myself and screwing it up, but then I am old. In the last phase I really gave it my all, and I feel I learnt how hard I could push myself and got really good results. Try to join a challenge group on Beachbody.com. There will be a bunch of people doing the workouts at the same time as you, so will share questions and experiences. It will help a lot.

The workout which gave me the most benefit was the Yoga. I hated it on the first week, by the third week I could tolerate it, and by the 5th week I couldn't wait to do it.

I'm 37 years old and towards the end of P90X I was monkeying around on the I beams in the workshop at work, doing cranes in strange places and showing the lads odd press ups.

My other half did it too and we now have a saying in our house when we do something fairly strenuous with ease, "Thank you Tony Horton".

You just have to embrace the cheesiness of it, it does really work.
