Just back from the gym; bumped the cardio up by another 5 mins. Weights remain the same. Also had a bit more biking than usual today outside the gym as I rode in to school and back . 20 mins each way and quite quickly so I had a high heart rate. Was glad of the extra work because I'm a bit bummed out I've not yet broken 90kg like I hoped I would. Seems like I'm bouncing off the 90~91~90~91 for the past two weeks :-/
Weight remains the same, still a fat cunt then?

KCAL: 1267 / 1800 (2300) (500 deficit)
Protein: 148 / 180
Carbs: 128 / 200
Fat: 16 / 40

That's around what I'll end up having today. I need to find an extra 500-600 kcal and 32g(ish) protein for tonight.. Is an issue I always have. Found Ketosis a metric tonne easier when working with food as the values where the same every day. Low kcal, high protein (etc) diets are a PITA. During the week I probably hit the values without issues, but at weekends (unless I take out) I'm not hungry..

Today was my first day back at the gym properly too, sore. Need food. Might resort to chocolate or a can of Nurishment to make up the remainders..

EDIT: I'm not on Ketosis, I'm just saying even though it's a shitty way to lose weight it's the easiest to eat around.

20kgs down as at this morning :) since 1st Sept, not bad at all. 25 days till I add some food back into my life (not a lot) and then back into abstention for another 6 weeks after Christmas to get me where I now want to be. Then a 12 week programme to return to food. It's all very exciting!

So I've fucked both my left knee and my right wrist, so I'm out of both the gym and the running currently. I feel so lazy and I hate it. Considering taking up Yoga or something 'til I'm better!

How dya do that? How bad?

Bike for you tbfh. If you don't push hard at all - just do distance - can probably slowly strengthen your knee and still do a fuckload of stamina work to boot.

I originally buggered my knee when I was training for the Great North Run, it seemed to be okay but I twisted it (or similar) while at work on Sunday. It's feeling a bit better today though so with any luck I'll be able to get back on the bike/to the gym tomorrow.

Before this I'd gotten quite into the cycling anyway, me and a mate are considering doing the Great North Bike Ride next year :).

Nice. I'm doing the Real Ale Wobble in a couple of weeks.

I don't think there's any better exercise than the combination of mountain biking and proper ale :)

You might suck tremendous amounts of dick at exams, but you're no longer a fatty bum bum!

cheers blud. according to a random internets BMI calc, I am now simply "overweight" and not obese/going to hell/a terrorist/in grave danger of imminent death/a literal burden on society. also, according to the same site, I still have yet to lose a further 15kg to reach a BMI that is classed as "normal". yay for random internets!

There are a lot of BMI bashers out there - but they're wrong. It's a good rule of thumb for 90% of the human population.

Well done teedles. :)

Yeah it's generally ok for someone of average build/muscle, if you deviate to an extreme then it sucks obviously.

Lost a stone in about 5 weeks including two weeks of P90X.

One problem I'm having is I am getting sick of eating the same (healthy) stuff. It's not the low fat content that's the problem, it's the low carb and high protein requirement. Anyone know a good website with some easy to prepare, high protein meal ideas?

I dunno about easy, but Mellissa knows her shit tbh. http://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/
She's not uber strict, but generally low carb / gluten free. You want protein? Eat a steak. That said, I drink a complex carb / protein shake before I hit the gym.

Just eat less shit. Healthy food can be a good beef casserole or pie - just don't eat fuckloads of it.

People look too hard at the exact content of their diet. You know if you're eating unhealthy shit. Look at the calories first and foremost, concentrate less on the carb/protein/fat contents - and simply be brutally honest with yourself whether you should eat shit or not.

Just eat less shit. Cheers Scouse :p I know what you mean though.

I'm going to go to M&S and get a load of those fuller longer meals they do.

Get myfitnesspal and then you can see how many calories you're consuming without much effort.

First 10 minutes of 6 a side back from injury. Foot feels better than it has done in months although still a little way to go. Lungs are fecked though, need to bring my cardio back up again.
