Seems abit cack to me :/ graphics are amazing but the game/gameplay itself is dire. Oblivion still has the crown in this department sadly.

I'd rather say Baldurs Gate ? Or if we wanna involve the first person RPG i'd say Morrowind :p Haven't played it yet tho!

Same makers yes, but not really the same game is it? Oo
You would have noticed if you played Morrowind a bit more :p
With that said i thought Oblivion was an excellent game, to bad it was made for console noobs rather than computer players.

well i didnt literally mean it was the same game :p was merely saying that it bares alot of similarities given they had the same makers.

Oblivion is good but its no Morrowind or Daggerfall. You can tell they built the game for consoles in mind, Theres still quests and unexplored areas in Morrowind and Daggerfall but Oblivion was over way to quickly. Hopefully with Dragon Age it will last as long as morrowind or Two Worlds (Which I love for many reasons) I am looking forward to all the side quests that will eat up my time, with games like these I usually don't care about the main quest and wonder the world. (Took me 6 months to even start the Morrowind main storyline)

Bah why does UK have to wait till friday QQ

Aye it sucks. Its something to do with meaningless sales charts I think, or at least that was always the reason we got the DAOC expansions on a Friday where everyone else got them earlier.

As for morrowind, never played it myself but have bought it on steam and hope to play it at some point.

Playing it atm, and finding it akin to a hybrid baldurs gate/witcher in 3d experience. Looks ok, but game bloats in at 15.1GB of space. Which is a bit much. Hope it's worthwhile. But then again, Sacred 2 is almost 20GB before installation lol.

Can we stop compare all RPG's to the worst one in recent years?(Oblivion)

Not to even mention that the games are nothing at all alike. This is basically Neverwinter Nights 2 with more polish and a better story/setting, and after my ~15 hours with the game so far it pisses all over any competition in recent years apart from Mask of the Betrayer. This is actually the first game in a long time where I've died and had to reload, and I'm liking it, the only major issue I've encountered so far is that it has some very odd slowdown at times, as in it drops from 60+ fps to 8 until I restart.

If only they would have used the D&D rule-set. And the fakkin numbers that pop up when you do damage, its horrible.

But then again, I remember when people used to bloat at the gluttony of what seems just a mere morsel of a meal in the size of Icewind dale II. Wonder if anyone here is still playing that one? ;)

i played it last month. it was still really fun, despite the halfassed (compared to what we have now) implementation of d&d3 in it.

on topic though, at about 24h played it shows that i am at 34% through. i guess it counts getting all kinds of achievements and shit into that 100% (like in the gta games, to get 100% you need to do lots of extra stuff) but i believe i am still in for like 10h of this game.

Is game disc size even an issue anymore?

15,8GB of disk space.

On a side note:

Any1 who bought the game from EA store know how to activate the aditional content from the Digital Deluxe Edition? The stone prisioner and grey warden keep quests, and the extra items? I can see the quests as DCL in the journal window, but it asks me to buy points from Bioware store.... :twak:

PS: game r0x the b0x tbh!! But, at least the prologue and 1st steps, are muhc muhc much MORE linear than Baldurs. Hope its just the starting area, like Irenicus' Lair in BG2 before stepping out to Atkatla (ah! the memories!)

Really enjoying this on the Xbox 360, it plays very well indeed. I rolled the most diseased ill looking elf imaginable. Was thinking of specialising in blood magic, but I appear to be gravitating to positive/good actions, so will probably go spirit healer in the end.

Loving the interplay with the different characters, and seeing how a relationship with one character affects another one. <3 Bioware.

Only downside is I've not finished Magna Carta 2 yet, bah.

Vasconcelos: on the Xbox version you enter the pin number you've been given under any of the purchase options, and it turns on the correct content.

well i think its like bg2 in the way that you have to do most of the main story steps, but you can choose the order you do them in. plus, you can break away at any point and come back later - i had to do that one time, because i wasnt able to succeed with a persuade i really wanted to get through, so i left and came back two levels later to complete that part of the main story.

go to :

dragonage.bioware.com/redeem

sign up, or migrate your bioware account

then add the CD keys

then load it and log into account from menu, let it sync, go to DLC tab..

should be there

right click the game and view CD keys.

the shorter ones are the item keys which you need. Once you have registered your game you can redeem them by clicking on the "redeem code" button in the downloadable content tab on the main menu. if they fail to download just hit retry, you may have to relog though.

Seems when I check on Steam for DLC I have three items available, Deluxe CD Key, Bonus Content and Deluxe CD Game key. When I check my CD keys there are only two listed. Anyone have an idea on how I can get the other CD Key or even appeal to Steam?
