When WoW was released Blizzard wasnt anywhere near the company they are now, they've got money to piss away fixing all the shit thats going on at the moment.

They have the money to fix whats going on with Diablo III at present, its nothing they won't make back once 'Operation turn the community into our personal gold farmers' goes into effect.

That will fuck up things when patches hit. As far as i know we still don't get patches at the same time.

I will bare that in mind, besides if I load up my client as an EU client then switch to USA ingame it wont patch, I just have to remember to change it back before restarting the client

capitalism = sell what you can at a price that people will take, doesnt matter about the quality just make money from share holders and make sure market price is as high as possible.
as long as customer service doesnt affect the above then all is good and who cares about the consumer.
you can rant rant rant all you like about the bum deal your getting but as long as they can placate the shareholders and the markets with platitudes that things will get better eventually you are going to get dick.
Face it or complain to the press .. who will do more to affect the above than FH will
until social responsibility is really a part of capitalism not just a buzz word .. suck it up.

It's a new game, it's a new online game, who in their right mind didn't see downtime days coming? I mean...really?
I'd also repost my figure posts about bliz being greedy and all that, but it would fall to deaf ears.

Because most people don't think it's that bad a game. It's just really really unreliable because of Blizzards constant server fuckups....
I don't care if its "new launch hickups", i didn't pay 60 euro to see "error 37" every other login attempt and constant deaths because of lag, random disconnects and whatnot while playing single player.
Probably the more annoying (albeit minor in comparison) issue is that i can't even pause the game while having dinner because the afk timer logs me off after 15 minutes.
I quite like the game myself, but all these server issues are more then i'm willing to accept as i'm only interested in single player, so i've asked for a refund to.
It's quite frankly making me a bit sad to ask for it but it's just to many issues for me to try and wait out.

Actually you did. You've played games long enough to know these issues are the bane of every launch, every patch day and so on. You also knew there was no offline play.
People knew exactly what they were getting in to, or they had some fantasy delution in their head.
Is it sh*t that this happens? Yes. Would i ever demand my moneys back for server problems? Hell no.
I'm betting there's a couple of ragers here who've been telling people in MMOs that "ooh it's just patchday as always".
