no chance considering when it comes to hardcore they run a "tough shit, what happens happens" policy .. infact they make sure you see that when you make the character

Yes i know, but that doesn't apply to blizzards fault. If a sudden server error kills your character, there's an exception.

Dont get me wrong. I do expect alot of people are getting their stuff stolen. But I wont agree they are being "hacked". Hacking would be breaking into the Blizz database and knicking EVERYONEs usernames and password.
What we have here is potentially brute forcing (theres no limit to retries on the password) maybe man-in-the-middle but most likely people reusing usernames/passwords from other sites that did get their databases broken into.
If Blizz got their database broken into then yep they are in the wrong.
Every other case, sorry not their fault, except maybe man in the middle, but when that started happening to wow they started encrypting stuff and i expect they've done the same to D3 based on WoW experiences.
I am also not saying the game doesn't have its faults. As with Scouse i've been cut off mid fight and come back online to the graveyard, my mates in the game didn't get cut off so although silly logic, my own DSL was at fault, and the problem made worse by BlizzLogic.
Also, i'm not finding the game that fun. I have no drive to go back through hell mode. Infact I don't think i've played a single minute of D3 since Saturday. Probably thats just me, same thing happened with Torchlight.

Agreed, I've had 2 good drops so far on Nightmare. While I had countless on normal, even the big bosses have only dropped blue things(with poor stats).

The problems i have with this game is.
1. it's to short, Blizzard even tries to make us rush through each arc in under 1 hour so they can reward us with an achievement...
2. there are no variation to the game depending on what class you play.
3. Higher difficulties does not promote "hack'n'slash as much as "oh god, run the fuck away and kite kite kite!".
4. The replay value comes down to 2 things, bragging rights and achievements.
5. Horrible HORRIBLE voice acting.
6. The itemization is appalling, when i'm playing nightmare for example i do not want level 20 items to drop. I want items suitable for my character level, not items suitable for my normal mode alts.
7. The skill system in general may work in normal mode but once you've cleared that, your choices for builds gets drastically reduced to a select few "cookie cutter" builds if you want to progress at a reasonable pace. And i *hate* cookie cutter builds.
8. Seriously? Both Cairn AND Leah?
9. Vampiric shielding fucking champion mega bulls that charge you for insane damage while healing up to full health, yes i found a pack this morning... After 45 minutes of seeing them heal up from 50% health i basically ended up having to kite them to the entrance of a dungeon and zone abuse.

1. It's just right for me and the achievement you speak of is NOT FORCED on you in anyway.
2. What do you mean by this? a Wizard plays different to a Barbarian and a Witch Doctor plays different to a Demon Hunter.

4. Diablo has always been this? maybe not achievements but it's always been about loot and bragging rights nothing else and it's always been about running the dungeons over and over and over uintil you can do it no longer.

7. Diablo 1 and 2 were always the same it ALWAYS comes down to cookie cutter builds but that is pretty much standard for every mmo these days.

I think people's problem is that Diablo 3 is almost like Diablo 2 and people have grown out of it and just don't find the gameplay fun anymore.

tried wizzy on my friends account, breezed throught act1-3 in inferno, phase3 on diablo inferno... no wizzies are not op.. taken me roughly 12 hours to breeze throught inferno up to diablo on a wizzy with mostly blue gear, sitting at 38k damage.

Heh they're strong yea, Inferno is just built for ranged classes, finding it much easier with my Wizard than I did with my barb, friends Demon Hunter rapes act 1-3 Inferno aswell.

Demon hunter, fresh run so had no idea what was coming. You only play D3 for the first time once

having a blast considering I'ver never played diablo before so didnt know what to expect, I "accidently" chased one of those treasure zombies 1/4 of the way around a dungeon and pulled way too many ended up getting a 60+ massacre at lvl12 or so i think was pretty fun moment
