I think it means there won't be any stat cap or toa bonuses (alittle stat cap was introduced in SI right? but since they won't implant that..)
I do however like the new CC changes "No mezz lasts longer than 20-25 seconds" mid tank grps with 3x healers are going to be fun to fight against with such shitty mezz durations.
Those changes are new how and for who? For the RR1 zerg with 0% in resists?
Groups ran 26%+ resists, mezz feedbacks, demezzers and mezz immune tanks so the duration was low already.
In long fights you will now get mezzed more often for less duration.
Same beer.
Ofc no one wants to see OF red AoE mezz with 400 RR1 in it.
The duration on the mezzes in orgins will be 20-25 seconds and thats not taking resists or det into account.
Ofcourse this still could change but thats currently what it is and that includes bolt range sorc mezz lasting for a max of 25 seconds (not taking resists or det into account once again)
Bard returns to being an end bot?? Queue whine for being the only cc'r with no other form of crowd control & without the healers healing or the sorcs dmg. No matter though as they can play end.....
A Det5 hero/warrior/armsman should be mezzed for less than 9 seconds iirc currently so by the Origins ruleset they'll..... blink & miss it?
Though Mani does have a point - it should mean you're mezzed more often for less duration if they stick to their current immunity formula.

I think you got a point there. It can easily get boring to level a char when there's no option to do anything else than pve. Battlegrounds are brilliant in that you can take a break from pve at any level. If there were battlegrounds in AoC for example, I would most likely have been playing it still. Reason I'm not, is because I got bored to death by pve and quests, and having no option to do something else like battlegrounds once in a while.No battlegrounds.

CC has always been an issue they never fully sorted out.
Mezz will still be crurical and the Bards mezz is still the best in hib.
Feel sorry for skalds, they will again be relegated to speedbots/cannon fodder.
Mezz will hardly be crucial - you're looking at 25 seconds max for a mezz. As they're saying that the RA's will stay as they are currently with some amending then every man & his dog that can have Det will have & the days of keeping a high dps mage out of the fight with a timely mezz are a thing of the past. Basically mezz is reduced to an interrupt (which is all it really is now but with even less chance of locking someone out).
What's a skald got to do with it? They're hardly mids primary mezzer are they? They'll do what the do now - provide speed & interrupt via dmg (which is more fun that interrupting for no damage & very little chance to keep someone 'controlled').
I foresee many a mid tank group on this server .
Might lose me when I'm sick of pve and have no battlegrounds to motivate me for the long road to 50. Unless you PL me ofc.No battlegrounds will only lose them twats that think its great and skilled rolling over un sc'd people.

I really hope they make it fun, aye. If I meet lots of lvl30ish people in the RvR zones when I'm lvl30. Then I won't complain.With the option of taking part in RvR anyway via quests and the chances of you bumping into people at your level I doubt thats its that big of an issue not having BG's.
As long as they sort out a method to stop high levels ganking unless attacked first then it should be fine.
How many servers will open if this type is a fact?
