I find Harris' YouTube channel already head and shoulders above anything Clarkson has ever done - if he brings elements of that to Top Gear 2, then it could be very good indeed. The videos are exquisitely shot, his engagement and enthusiasm are tip top.

True but it remains to be seen if it will work. Harris is a great place to start, I think between him, Schnitzel and Evans, there could be a solid chemistry to get the new show off the ground.

Agreed. Neither do I. I'm too busy watching car stuff on YouTube. The fact that Harris is one of those very people I watch as got me interested in how this will pan out.

Top Gear was the *only* telly I'd boot up iplayer for and watch live. Other than that I don't even have an aerial plugged in to the telly. The idea of the telly being on in the background horrifies me.

Remember the context of this revelation re Harris, it's gone from "no fucker can fill their boots" to 2 people who know what they're talking about and could bring the right chemistry. With Harris and Schnitzel on the team it *might* just be really quite good.
