Are they welcome on prydwen?

The guild, or some of its members? Things are different in prydwen, so the guild will be different, with different goals, different policies, and as they are recruiting: Different membership. No point in keeping a lot of ideas from camlann, so don't know how it would work. But it I remember well, on Camlann they had ideas for recruiting, helping new people, and trying to be nice. That is a good thing to keep. The problem as I see, Prydwen has different ideals, and a bit less competitive. And if they are rude to clerics who go rezzing on ML raids, and grps split, that isn't a good introduction. I think most of them are nice people and welcome on the server, if they make a nice guild, nice community, and adapt. But it will be a different guild, not the same as they had on Camlann.

But Brutality have as new guild, done thier bit to piss people off.

Brutality have been "hijacking" encounters infront of people - whom they asked if they could join, or simply just rail roaded the encounter infront waiting groups. Groups that was not afk and not was camping.
If Brutality only had done this 1 time, it could have been an accident but several times can only mean a lack of common curtsey and a level of ruthlessness, we are not used to see on this server.
Keeping all scrolls from a ml rush unannounced was not too bright either, unless you do not care about others and what they think.

Some say that Brutality seem like nice poeple and it maybe right
but ruthless behavior like Brutality as a guild have preformed so far as guild speaks for it self.
Maybe there was nice poeple in Brutality - but they must have left the guild.

I don't know the guild really, I've met a couple of guys and they seem mostly decent guys. Talked with a few and some have the Camlann artifact mentality, but I forgive them as they're probably still used to Camlann. (And frankly, half Alb/Prydwen is acting like a bunch of Camlann players right now, chill out guys)

They're doing their part for the realm by leading a ML marathon. And people complaining about the fact that they keep the scrolls should instead try leading a ML marathon. I have organized and led a couple of raids, and once or twice I claim an item I really want. (For example Ammuts Remains on ML5.) Chronictank also ran ML raids and reserved the right to claim 1 item on the lotto. If Brutality chooses to keep all the scrolls, of which most of them are the 5/10g scrolls anyway, then that's their choice and I respect that. I know this while I go on the raid, and I accept that I will not get any scrolls. If I want scrolls, I'll farm them or something.

I admit I don't like the sound of them hijacking artifacts, especially if you've camped it for ages. But the acceptation that camped means it's not for you is just how we're used to work together, and they haven't yet learned about our unwritten rules. It takes time to learn them all, and it's probably a huge change from the unwritten rules of Camlann.

I got Jamie (Infanity) a 3 day ban after him name calling me for about 30 minutes in Castle Sauvage with the help of Causes and saying that he would get me a perma ban for relpying to him saying "why don't u just piss off back to camlann" by saying "I can make u "piss off" to irl", notice the to irl meaning I would report him and getting him a 3 day ban... where he has 2 face irl ...

I wont name call u coz its not ur fault that u feel the need 2 pick on someone and /rude smoeone that have never spoked to u before... its just in ur nature I guess.. maybe ur parents didn't bring u up the way u are meant to be brought up in a civilized world..

I forgive u mate.. sorry for getting u banned... its just that when I try to make u su and u respond by saying that u can get me perma banned.. well... u just pressed the wrong buttons :/ sorry.. hope u can forgive me to.

I bet half of them don't. I, for one, don't care about what Brutality did. I couldn't care less whether they excist on Prydwen or not. I don't care about any of it ;p
The thing I _do_ care about, is that half of Albion is hopping on the band-train without knowing the bloody guild or any of it's members. Without having dealt with them, their Camlann tactics or their lack of respect for anyone.
I care because I really, really dislike people being hypocrits, as it's one of the worst character traits one can have, and there's shitloads of them here.
People mentioning how the people in Brutality didn't show respect and what not, while showing no more themselves.
I'm one of those clueless band-train people aswell, I guess, as I haven't had too many personal dealings with them. I do, however, judge them by what I've seen of them, rather than by what I haven't, and I started with out objective, not picking either Albs side or Brutality's side in the matter.
I never had stuff stolen from me by them, nor did they flame me (too badly) or piss me off in any way. That's why I'm perfectly fine with them, as long as they stay off my back and adabt to the rest of Prydwen.
A lot of the other posters here (even if not in just this thread) didn't have any more dealings with them than me. Yet, they come out being all hostile, simply for reading some other persons opinion about them, or after reading some posts/threads, again forming their opinions over second-hand subjective information.

It's not your spelling and grammar that I was talking about, it's the using of "u" instead of "you", it's a whole freaking 2 buttons extra! This combined with the part that you were talking about "being brought up in a civilized world" I couldn't help but comment on the irony.

Anyway, it's not that your English is bad, it's just that I hate the fact that people are too lazy to use it properly and then go "But English isn't my native language!". Mostly because I find it deragatory to people that do speak proper English despite them not being native English speakers. (I'm a bit fussy about that, I know it's silly. ) (Disclaimer; I can understand this on mobile phones, as typing on those wretched things is a right horror, however keyboards are awesome for typing.)

Seriously though, just a little bit of effort can make a post a lot more readable, as well as using punctuation and capitalization. Some people just make one really long sentence without using one , or . and this just breaks my eyeballs. As well as reading u, ur, and 2 instead of to. Small grammatical or spelling errors I don't mind, in fact, I don't notice them 90% of the time anyway unless I'm actively looking for them.

Regardless, sorry if I upset you, but it was a really long and boring day at work, and with no access to DAoC nor IRC I had no other way to vent.

Not getting involved in the arguement still... but who told you that it happened? GoA's policy clearly states that they wont tell you what happened to other peoples accounts... it the reason we dont hear about who got banned for radar etc
