phone ya bank and get blocks in place, from what i read cancelling accounts isnt working. People had accounts cancelled as far as a week back and they still being hit with charges

Some people may find they cant get chargebacks to their card and have real trouble getting their money back.

lol they can chase me all they like i went into a store paid 52.50 euros for 50 euros worth of a visa voucher to use as i pleased , their failsafes failed to prevent this and when they see it is 1 recurring payment it wont be me they end up chasing

Still this is quite worrying nevertheless , if i was using a debit or credit card to pay for this game now i certainly wouldnt be resubbing ever

I'm lucky so far no additional payments requested checked my visa going back to December 09.

Alos I've not long sold a house and couple of $$ in the bank, if I do get charged I'll simply say to bank fix it else I'll move banks, won't be an issue for me, but it must be a nightmare for others.

This is beyond ragequitting , EA is gonna get a shitload of lawsuits and even if not covering the bank charges people are gonna get will make them ''purge'' the already flailing Dark Age department for sure , nothing to do with ragequitting and tbh id say over 50% of the people who did get hit by this will quit as mythic have shown they cant be trusted with CC details now

This isnt some QQ or whine about an overpowered class or i died in a rvr zone lolz , its people losing in some cases 1000's of dollar's//euros and thus missing bank/mortgage/car/insurance/school bill payments and in some cases having their credit ratings ruined and it wont be pretty when its finished

It's a much larger issue than DAOC warhammer has been hit as well, subs numbers are falling constantly.

it just pisses me off our xfer will be stuffed up now until this shite is fixed, what will it mean for DAOC, no idea, EA will decide that.

its nothing to do with trusting the companies in question, how long have u been paying daoc subs? lets say 8 years and this happens once, yes fair enuff its gonna effect alot of people.

but i've got two words for everybody

"indemity form"

just claim the money from your bank and they will front it until mythic sort it out so nobody needs to lose anything,

had a similiar thing with my old mobile phone network (orange) they charged me couple of hundred quid instead of 20 and i got given stupid dates so they advised go fill in an indemity form bank can give money back in 24 hours and then they'll claim it from us.

simple process and problem solved.

also deception if mythic cant be trusted with cc details the last 8 years was what?

i understand everybody's frustration but this is the 21st century most things are online now, and the internet can be hacked manipulated bugged etc etc..

if you're well and truly worried about cc details and mythic open up a basic bank account witha debit card and xfer 10 per month to that and use that to pay plenty of solutions, the majority of this thread has all been apocolyptic views on daoc etc,

personally i'd just follow the solution laid down by mythic and as for the phone charges tell them that you'd like these refunded too,

financially daoc/warhammer will be fine,

its not like we've not all been paying £10 x 2/3/4 for the past 8 years or so

they'll just lose a bit of the quarterly profits

I'm not sure how many people are working on DAOC at all, the updates tend to be very small and not much content, could be 1 dev etc who knows.

As raven said were looking at possibley a good few months of DAOC subs being wiped out because of all the overdraft payments.

so guy got charge 38 times, ok so they refund his overpayment cool, but he also got charge 38 x 25 overdraft payments so that 63 people have to sub to daoc just to clear that ones guys mess.

It's not hard to see that even with Ywain sitting at 3000 pop they won't be making money for a while, and to top it all off payments are still being deducted.

don't forget EA closed Earth and Beyond when that had an active 30,000 subs base.

if i was subbing and this hit me I would be in the same position.

I got alot of my money tied up in my wedding at the moment, cant get them funds back.
I have no additional savings, beyond those that earmarked for payments due soon (Hotel, flights payments etc due soon).

This means that my "month to month" account is all i got available to me, and if it hit just before my major shop I would be left with literally nothing in the house to eat after maybe 2 days.
My household requires lots of fresh food due to allergies, which means we are unable to keep large stocks of emergency food as there no such thing for the multiple allergies missus has.

Really could leave some people in a serious problem in the UK, let alone anyone in the US that now missing Health insurance payments etc. Not like they would get any leeway if they were rushed into hospital before seeing that the payment was rejected

I have no possibility to either remove the 15 transactions that have occurred or stop them from taking more money from you.

What you can do is cancel your card so they cant take more money from your bankaccount. If so, you will not be able to shop with your card and you have to order a new card. The new card comes in about 2 week and the code will be 1-2 days later.

If you would not get your money back, I recommend you to make a complaint to the "SEB-Card". You need to fill out a complaint form for us to investigate the purchase.

The easiest way is to fill in the form through SEB's website. SEB - Card - a card purchases Complaint - Complaint Form (on the right side).

The form you need to sign and then send or fax to

"SEB-card". The address and fax number can be found at the bottom of the form.

This aint the answer we got from SEB, since you wont go below 0SEK (zero) on your SEB account you / they can do following :
Put a buy limit on the card (100sek), in that way you wont be charged from Mythic/EA,
this is what SEB told us to do at least.

-My account I pay my sub from was billed today for over 500 dollars in 16 dollar increments. the account was overdrawn and with fees and overbilling it was 562.73 total.




-Only replying so that they know the magnitude of their error... 16 times on boyfriend's account and 11 times on my account, including some overdraft fees.



-I was charged 17 times for the 15.89. I NOW DO NOT HAVE Enough Money for Gas or the Car payment that was automatically scheduled to come out.
