I have the "Flash Player 10 ActiveX" installed and the "Flash Player 10 Plugin" installed.

You may want to install both, if you don't have them, just in case.

Mabs, are you trying to actually watch them on iplayer online, or download them and watch them on the iplayer desktop?

You need adobe air installed afaik, which iplayer desktop should install for you.

Have you tried uninstalling iplayer desktop and firefox and starting again?

I used to get this with WinXP+Firefox, Win7+Firefox, and get it occasionally now with Win7+Chrome. I think it's just a general bug in iPlayer/AIR
