hehe...had a funny run in with horner the other day outside of alianne.
See a lone enemy running past me. I was in hurry but thought...hmm....if i stay no il prolly die
But curiosity overcame my comon sence and i mezzed him.
A nice fight broke out with me patheticly trying to swing at him with my feeble bard skills Him and me mezzing eachother and him healing himself.
When finally he got me. And after that he calmly sat down...blowed a kiss to me and ran off in other direction.
Well...tought me two things...never atack anyone with my bard again, and two Horner seems to be an ok guy sometimes

I don't hate Horner as much as many ppl evidently do, I never complain cos I was in nf/ poc and he killed me (various chars, and battered him a couple of times) that's the risk you take, etc, but c'mon, ELEVEN /rude spams cos he killed a rr2 solo ns, might be considered a smidge twattish and making damn sure you get an xp death.. tsk, tsk. It's really no wonder he's such a popular guy in hibland

comming froma decent rr hib caster i find that rather funny considering you got your "i win" stun that u dont have to spec for

p.s imo no such thing as skill in this game its all knowledge of the game and knowing when to press the buttons and knowing enemy class abilitys etc.. not skill just that knowledge is power.

People keep saying this, that there's no skill in this game, only knowledge about classes and pressing the right buttons.
Doesn't knowing what abilities to use, what classes to target, classify as skill?
What exactely is skill? I always thought that if you had knowledge about something, you were skilled in that area.
That experience = skill, to some degree. Some people will, of course, become skilled(or learn the game mechanics, if you will) faster than others.

I can clearly see the difference between a well played sorc and a less skillfull one.
One might hit soi+moc on the first sign of trouble and die fast if it's down, while others can win even if soi/moc is down as long as they play smart.
Surly one must be more skilled than the other?
