9sec Stun Evade based on a class with Evade7 + Uses a BB = Overpowered.

Thats why we dont moan and whine about Mincers/Mercs that can have the same style.

Both of them chars are used in broad FG v FG whereas (and I say this lightly) Infils are 1 v 1 therefore making it a predominantly overpowered style.

Take away buffbots and maybe we`d see a bit of difference.

Hate to agree with Envenom, but DF has always been a pain.

I dont really care either way, ill just carry on playing my NS aslong as I enjoy the char, no matter the nerfs.

I only justpicked up playing him full time, and yes i have been playing since beta and took me a bloody long time to lvl my infil up to 50 solo without a BB or any powerlvling whatso-ever...
Just normal grouping (if thats possible for an inf).

I'll have other guildys vouch for that.. but atm i hope they dont even try, as its abit of a wasted effort on people like you.

Which class do you play?
Which class did you play before 1.62?

Remember pre 1.62? When Savages were not an issue yet, cause Midgard had Zerkers and SB's who were doing insane damage (Savages are even worse though ).
SB's did insane amounts of damage for 1 year. Now they still do high damage, yet bitch about thrust infs who can sometimes win a fight cause they get the luck (25% evade chance if buffed to the balls) to evade.
Yet if we compare thrust damage to SB damage we can see SB's still outdamage them a lot.
But ok, lets say infs have to give up DF cause the Midgard whiners insist on winning 99% of the time.
Would it not be fair if SB's then were reduced a lot more, so their damage output would equal that of an inf?

SB's never cared about game balance (not one Mid ever did) they just want to be miles ahead of any competition again.

glottis the dmg difference between a thrust inf and a SZ like me is at best 30 dmg main weapon if both are buffed.
ontop of that SB got thrust resistan armour while inf got slash neutral and midgard got 10% melee dmg bonus.
so specc slash and do more dmg then SB's or at worst do equal dmg.
Remember atleast u got a choice u can chose a specc that do more dmg but u dont cause u dont wanna give up DF.

and u talk about 25% to evade do u even know what u talking about ?

with your WS debuffed to somewhere around 800-900 against a enemy that got a WS around 1400-1500 and hits evade cap ffs DF is allmost a anytime style.

Bleh anything that made the sb uber has been according nerfed...

2h'd Pa's where gr8 for 1 hit no uncovering of stealth so that was looked at and taken away, so was the LA nerf. Infils spec points were increased and Df was ignored. Lost most of the time to ninjastyles, brommix and pin even though everything looked like going my way and the work to get the first intial PA off. Purely through one very ez DF style, Infil has and always be the lub child of mythic.............old news all this really.

ah well, got my own lub class now even though i have to have purge up to face a decent infil

According to him all infil players are fotm and anyone he decides is fotm just is.

Test were done that showed that an opponent with 1 in DW skill will half your evade rate, so it cannot be more than 25% anymore, as it is capped at 50%. Test showed this also.

And while thrust weaponskill will be higher debuffed than that off an sb, his damage output is a lot lower.

I play a slash inf, and I do get outdamaged by sb's by a fair bit due to the haste buff. I get hit around 2 times for one of my hits.

But yes, I do know what I'm talking about.

Maybe if you went into combat mode you would see a difference?

I've yet to even get remotely near the damage of a slash infil since 1.62.

Well.. No Alb class has ranged insta-mezz.

Any Alb is happy with ANY insta-CC on range. Only minstrel has insta stun on 'range'.

Shammies have insta-CC (ichor), Healers, skalds.

Perhaps not overpowered, but in the eyes of an Alb it sounds pretty cool.

Zerkers got fixed, savages are about to get fixed. Yet no news about infiltrators, think Mythic knows exactly which is more important for BALANCE.
