We'd be at the bottom of the food chain again, and you'd have a whole new world complaining to listen to (or not).

After playing a casters for well over a year ... i thought playing a tank was too easy... and therefore boring. it's a simple fact that some people want to find a challenge and others will be satisfied with farming realm points thinking there great.

hell, i'm levelling up a 2hand sb when it would've been alot easier to level up an infiltrator, in a realm where i already have a bot and lots of money. it doesnt really matter to me if infs stay overpowered ( if only marginally ), or if i get killed by a rr8 ns after i pa+cd him, or get zerged by 4 stealthers. cos i'd be picking the wrong targets or hunting in the wrong places.

The only thing that stealthers should be whining about is buffbots... group chars should be compared buffed, but not solo chars. you'd find alot more balance if they were taken out, that dragonfang would go off alot less and they'd hit you for less as well, they'd duel wield less, and getting in a pa+cd would be alot more significant.. so would purge etc.

the solution has already been stated several times on these boards. make DF 2nd in a chain like Frosty, that then removes the no brain spam df with back up style for the win and you would at some point actually have to use more thna 2 buttons.

Of course allow the stun component to remain but make it the same length as frosty.

Or

Remove all stun off evade components fro all assassins in base weapon specs and only have it in the PA/CD chain, BSII and or the hammy/leaper chain, being the 2nd part of that chain

Take Zoia for a moment, she played a long time unbuffed and solo in odins, she got ganked by certain class a).. and wouldnt attack that class again, instead searched for more equal challenges and did well.

its called KNOWING YOUR LIMITATIONS... not all classes can solo other ones ( and shouldnt be able to if played correctly ). as a stealther ... picking the correct classes to attack is imperative. if you pa+cd a tank and he still whoops your ass .. common sense indicates that you probly shouldnt attack him next time. if you keep going to amg and 10 infs gank you ... it would be wise not to go there again without further protection. if a low rr buffed shadowblade meets a high rr buffed inf with purge down, chances are he's a) gonna have higher weaponskill b) have high higher evade = you should be dead in straight melee

however this is also true of higher sb's versus lower rr infs and here is where the problem lies

Dont blame the infs because you rely on a RA ( purge) to compete with one class. A class shouldnt need a ra to compete at all. dragonfang on a low evade class isn't overpowered, but combined with lvl 50 mota5 buffs chances are it's going to land on you.

Get rid of buffbots then we can start to balance classes

Tons of suggestions have been made but infils just tend ignore them cos they dont like um.

*Infils to 2.2 spec points
*Reduce stun component
*make DF 2nd in chain
*remove all stuns

I said a option that would still make it possible for infils to take on sbs

and removing all stun styles would be just plain boring (etc for a mercfilt) just click the same style every fight... horray! what fun!

reduce stun would be an option, i agree with you on that one, though DF 2nd in chain would make more sense and harder to pull off.

Infils to 2.2 spec points wouldnt be a good option imo, as it is alot of infils cant even take on a class with 2.2 spec points...

And no of course someone doesnt like seeing their class nerfed (Did SB's enjoy watching LA get nerfed?) same go's for infils... just looks like im one of the few who can act rationally about it... and look for a proper solution.
