I used to be a good guy but everytime i helped someone i either got shot in the back or just plain raped in the ass, it's actually fun playing the hunter now and the loot you get is great as well, everyone is a target for me now just sniped some poor sucker coming out of the air tower at Baltoa airbase he had a CZ50 so a nice back up sniper weapon in my tent if i ever lose my M24.

Just need to kill someone who has NVG's now

I play on FR 15 its pretty good, the beta patch on Monday messed a lot of servers up it takes AGES to load your character into the game.

17 murders and I died after getting myself into a stupid situation ah well started again and just happy I stuffed a tent with a CZ550.

Have got a taste for being a cold blooded killer and im really enjoying it!

Just hoping they sort out the loading times because its terrible right now.

Loading time and the insta abort/disconnect thing that makes an easy escape from whatever tricky situation.

People in this game have become so hostile, me and a friend have been wiped out several times by snipers and other geared up guys just shooting us down without provocation or because we were any threat.

Shoot to kill my friend and shoot first, if you get the drop aim for the head that way disconnect for them is useless

Anyone i see is a potential meal and when i hear gun shots? that's the dinner bell ringing for my beans and loot.

Where do you get tents from? I have found empty tents in the woods but couldn't work out how to pick them up. I have started chucking food away now because I am getting it faster than I need it. Jumped some guy on his way out of a shopping mall earlier. Saved me the effort!

Haha nice, tents are just random loot found in supermarkets, when you lay a tent down that tent is owned by you and nobody can move it but you.

I tend to find them in the shopping malls, they take up quite alot of space.

I am playing with a friend and we had a pretty funny encounter today; both of us were approaching a barn (unarmed) and were just about to enter when another survivor charged past us and into the barn, causing everyone to run around yelling "FRIENDLY", inside the barn two more survivors were camping (they being actually armed with weapons) and we had 5 people inside the barn and zombie aggro deperately trying to avoid getting killed. We actually managed to communicate, kill the aggro, share the loot and went each our way in the end after chatting for some time. Was pretty cool!

Had a short shuffle around last night.

Two things worth mentioning. Firstly...the glass of the control towers? Yeah you know the stuff. Totally bullet proof, dozens of rounds...not a scratch

Secondly....GODDAM IT BULLET PROOF BROKEN GLASS.

Seriously wtf. You can blow up buildings, but you can put a hole in glass.

Also people still log off when threatened, sucks tbh.

Poag i had a massive fail when i first started the game trying to snipe someone in that fucking tower i was like WTF WTF WTF WTF and then ran off due to giving my position away after laying 5 rounds into that damn place.

Its the first it happened to us. Normally we catch people on the ground or in the doorway. First time someone up the tower.

We'd been following him for 10-15 minutes by the sounds of him shooting zombies. Saw him go into the tower so we got setup to cover 3 of the 4 sides.
Sniper lines up a perfect headshot as the guys still. Shoots, i'm watching and i see a metal ricochet from the middle of the glass pane. Sniper fires a second perfect headshot, again nothing. Guy sits still for 5-10 seconds before scuttling down inside the building. We are covering the two sides we can climb down/exit through, dont see him. Enter building, hes not there. Logged off evidently.

Highly annoying.

I have no idea how people meet up. I am forever getting lost in the woods and ending up back at the barn/town that I had just visited.

Getting a little fed up of random zombie agro now. Ran past a town (a pretty good distance away) and somehow a zombie saw me and started chasing so I ran for a bit and turned round and shot him in the face. Soon after it seemed the entire population of zombies started coming at me. I ended up out of ammo after killing about 25 of them and yet still more came. Died in the end. Luckily I hadn't been alive that long but I had just found a Lee Enfield which is my absolute favorite gun in the game.

Sounds like you're better than me, I've entered about 20 buildings/barns and still only found one gun

On the topic of tents, have found a tent camp but one tent in particular is under a tree and mouse wheel won't let me select the tent any ideas?

OMFG just found the absolute motherload of tents, 10 tents loaded to the brim with every weapon in the game an ungodly amount of ammo for every weapon i'm talking 20 mags for every weapon, camo suit,NVG everything jesus fucking christ sad bastards must have been farming this shit at the NW airfield for ages.

Came away with AS50,FAL with heat scope.

If you can hack you don't need to farm since you can set up scripts to spawn you in anything you want.

I killed a hacker once literally 2 seconds later he teleported me to him exact same gear and kiilled me

All the weapons in the tent were legit weapons according to the list i found on dayz wiki, fucking sneaky bastards though the way they set up the tents as i passed them once it was only when i looked back and saw something odd about one of the trees that i went closer and found them all.

This guy I was playing with was telling me he could spawn a box that would have every item in the game and tons of ammo. I reckon they did that and put them in tents, covering their tracks as such.

Is it me or is mouse movement slightly less responsive than in other FPS games? A very small delay before your mouse movements move on the screen? Just feels weird but I'm sure i'll get used to it.
